With all due respect, when people say the armed forces are defending our freedom, I don't get it. Don't get me wrong, I have alot of respect for those men and women who put their lives on the line, but its not like the Taliban or Iraq were at our coastlines waiting to attack American cities and unload boatloads of troops to storm the beaches. They were running around in caves, they were never much of a major threat to our liberties; Bless those who serve anyway tho.

My husband served since Desert Storm-now as an activated reservist. He has been a police officer 15 yrs fighting for our safety every min/shift/day like our soldiers do daily. As a active reservist he's deploying to continue to preserve our country's freedom & I'm proud of him but don't think our country appreciates the sacrifices made by all!
