They travel to Sidney in a few issues. Now, if what you meant was the ORIGIN of the comic was England, than yes, Tank Girl IS and English comic. But the story of Tank Girl takes place in Australia.

Topman I did hear somewhere from the web, that tank girl was planned as an animated film. But for unknown reasons they change it to live-action like they did with Howard the duck.
