And that crosswalk was an abomination. It started with a snow bank and ended with a bigger snow bank.

WAG hit the nail on the head. And while they did a good enough job in general getting the rds clear, there's no reason for lanes and exits to be partially blocked as well. In some places it creates a really dangerous situation especially with people who tend to follow too close and others who don't signal. Think they're trying to save money what with this pattern we're in. More snow Tuesday/Wednesday and none of this will melt by then!

Thank god nothing happened to you, that is freaken dangerous, this is our "fuck the pedestrian" way of life around here. Recently News12 did a report on sidewalks in Riverhead about telephone polls in the middle of the sidewalk, they need to talk about his problem...
