I must say, as a person that only followed the outside of the debate it 2008, and really hated palin. I drew the conclusion that mc cain was a "bush loving" bad man. BUT the more I have seen of him, it feels like he is a very inteligent man, with good reasons for his ideas, BUT he was forced to drive a campagin based upon the fact that "republicans" (people that just vote on the side because of a superficial understaning of the US constitution, and history) just wanted to hear the same old story
Nice to see that McCain still has some integrity once in a while. He's been good on this torture issue, and the man should know something about torture.
Too bad that he lost his independent side and became such a cheerleader for Bush, pandered to religious nuts {"agents of intolerance"}, and became such a war hawk.
