Windows don't run Mac, and Mac's don't run PC's, Windows can run on Mac's, and OS X can run on other PC's, because a Mac by definition is a PC.

Windows 7 looks nothing like OS X, especially comparing OS X to other OS's, Windows looks nothing like other OS's.

Popular? Windows is still the dominant OS, and will continue to be, until OS X opens up to more software and hardware. Finally, you do realize that all companies look at others and develop something to out do them, Boeing to Airbus, Airbus to Boeing, and so on.

Mac's can't run PC's, and PC's can't run Mac's, because Mac's are PC's, Mac's can run Windows, and other computer's can run OS X if they are set up right.

Windows 7 doesn't remind me of OS X at all, the enhanced quick launch in Windows 7 is nothing like the dock, because the dock is dock, not a task bar, like in Windows.

Their are other OS's that look closer to OS X than Windows.

Bram, you need to start talking about how OSX is far superior to 7. Come on Bram, everyone knows 7 is just another Mac rip off! MS hasn't done anything original since they first copied Apple! The biggest pro of 7 is that Apple thought it up first. The biggest con is that 7 doesn't have the stability of the Mac platform, no matter what they do to it. Face it, PCs are for the poor huddled proletariat masses. I don't know anybody who makes more than $100k who still uses a plebian PC.

I know this a dumb question but, when you say 32-bit or 64-bit processor. That's something different than the cpu right? is it the graphics card?

Thae bits refers to which type of binary code you have..Open up your start up window and you can get this off of the code reciprocityh module..If you have 32 bit, you have to upgrade to 64 bit in order to run Windows 7..A quick web search should help you out..Good luck!

ok one thing i must say is that a few of those features that may have been very "apetizing" to xp users that you said was "new" are actually not. for instance the search tool is in vista already and the snipping tool is also in vista. i suggest that before you do a demo on an os please know the other operating systems that your compairing to. great demo though. i might be looking into upgrading.

Netscape is now Firefox, still runs like a champ. Again, Windows 7 can be run in Windows XP virtualization mode. That means with a click of a button, you can turn your Windows 7 to a Windows XP and run all your XP games, software etc. No love lost.

well, you didn't discuss any of the CONS of windows 7 like the title says. thanks for lying.

second, everything that is new for windows 7 is all taken from the Mac OS. icons at bottom of screen that you can move around, easy access to searching for programs or files, gadgets on your desktop, mini view of a program, EVERYTHING! way to go windows... you suck again. 

also, it is supposed to be a quick operating system, but... im sorry, your demo here shows that it is STILL slower then my mac.

CONS were discussed if you watched both parts. #1 Complete Reinstallation is required, #2 The price tag, #3 Still some incompatability issues with some devices

1) The icons at bottom of screen that you can move around, have been around since the quick launch feature was added, long before the OS X dock.

2) Windows has always had a search feature since like 95.

3) Gadgets vs Widgets, you don't need to press a button for them to appear on screen, you just have to view the desktop.

4) Thumbnail preview was in Vista, it's not new to 7.

Windows 7 runs excellently, so I don't know what you're talking about, plus he is using a screen recorder.
