is not that you have to but the colors are bolder than the regular polishes!

well my favorite polishes are white, black and pink, plates I suggest you to get one with images for the whole nail cause these are very easy and very cute a french one and a flowery one.... there is tons of options in image plates...

Do you file the stamper? I can't get it to pick up properly? Do you use a base coat too?

No, I have never done that, maybe you are using a nail polish remover that contains a moisturizer and this leaves a thin film in the plate that doesn't let the image to get in the stamper. So just use pure acetone or thiner!

Is the top coat name cuticule oil?

no the cuticle oil is an oil that you use when you do your manicure and remove the cuticle, this oil keep the cuticle moisturized and not dry! the base coat is a clear nail polish that you use before applying color.

holographic is the term for that effect on the nails like the rainbow. Have you seen the hologram stickers? well is the same but in a nail polish.
