@Lamboragon and this is where you look stupid, cinema 4d doesn't have any free student versions dumbass not only that there are different versions of cinema 4d ranging from 600$ - 4,000$ , and 3ds max has way better animation system than c4d in my opinion when it comes to character animation, but when it comes to intros and 3d text and mo graphs and shit, c4d has that no doubt, soo how about you know your facts before you look stupid on the internet, and try 2 find a better way to be an ass hole

Seen the transformers movies ? 1 frame takes 38 hours to render with a good computer.

and theres like 60 frames in 1 second..

They use a bunch of computers which are amasing to render it tho (render farms) so it doesent take that long.. but still ages

@crazyspooks10 Depends on what your doing after effects is great for editing lighting, flares, colour correction, SLOW MO pretty much everything except 3d so if you want to be a complete pimp download

vegas pro 9, After effects cs4, Cinema 4d and learn them if u do i guarentee you that you will be employed in about 1 years time

Did you use Pblur? with thinking particles.

You can do this in Cinema 4D with a thinking particles generator called PBlurp (under TP generators) the node needs to be accessed through the Expresso Editor . Basically this breaks an object into fragments and "morphs" it into another shape. Just use the help files in C4D and follow the instructions. Hope this helps!

Anyone know of a good/short tutorial on craeting your own logo for a frag intro? I like to make frag clips and i think i've got the editing down based on syncing music, adding small effects, and some transitions. Now I wanna move on to creating a signature so if anyone can help me (I alrdy know about andrew kramer and im learning stuff he does now) I would much appreciate it.

@xFoze jeesh kid it's all very simple stuff. Either export your animation as a mp4 or wmv and any editing program will handle it. quicktime sucks for rendering. if you're framing the animation instead of rendering it as a whole even windows movie maker does a decent job of making it into a hd movie. Vegas pro is a hard program to just pick up and edit with. seriously. just save yourself hours of probing with vegas and use windows movie. you'll get the same result with much less effort

The dude I was replying to didn't know how to add an audio track, so i figured he doesn't know video editing period. For a quick scene render or whatever it may be WMM does a ok job and is much MUCH simpler to use
