  • den disen påminer mej om birca paradise

  • what is the lowest deck this elevator goes to?

  • It's deck 6. A cabin deck, I think...

  • what a big callbutton

  • nej

  • one of my friend get stuck in this elevator!!!!

  • I like those glass doors, very nice.

  • nice elevator. when going up its way faster.

  • yes. it,s was fater on uppway.

  • wow, one big call button and that has a nice arrival chime.

  • nice elevator have this elevator a machine room?

  • Iy,s hydraulic. Inground Hydraulic. Not Roped Hydraulic

  • Inground Hydraulic? On a boat???

  • Yes.

  • I thought no ship has in-ground hydraulic

  • this is Telescopic Ingurond Hydraulic, i 100 % safe to that!!! I seen it with my own eyes!!!

  • so it's not conventional hydraulic. conventional would not work for a ship.

Do you know of any video on YouTube with a MacGregor/KONE elevator because MacGregor sold its elevator division to KONE

  • It would work fine on a ship. There are the lower decks where the elevator doesn't go to.

  • @ATITANIC1992 I was thinking that in-ground hydraulic would not work on ships if it served all decks and that you would need holeless to serve all decks

  • yes i see your point.. In"ground" hydraulic at sea

  • I'm sorry, I think I've changed my mind. They must be telescoping hydraulic elevators.

  • But of course they're not conventional hydraulic!

  • Well the desciption says that it is an "inground ground hydraulic"

(inwater lol) If the elvator doesn't go lower than

deck 6, the telescoping cylinder might begin at deck 4 or 3.

  • Yes, I suppose it might be so.

  • Silja Europa has Telescoping Inground hydraulic glass elevators. I'm sure about that.

  • oke its very slow this elevator

  • Trevligt!

These elevators are really identical to Silja Europa's glass elevators, the only thing is that they have no glass doors like this. And it's always only one of the two glass elevators that work. These are Dan elevators and Silja Europa has MacGregor Navire elevators. These two different brands made these elevators together with KONE in 1989-2005.

  • kone elevator

  • No. It's Dan Elevator.

  • I figured cruise ships would use all traction elevators. Interesting.

  • where does this boat sail??

  • M/S Viking Cinderella. A Swedish Cruiseship!

  • It sail Stockholm-Mariehamn (Åland in Finland) And summertime to Riga! Video from Cruise Ship Birka Paradise comming maeby summer 2009. Birka Paradise has 3 KONE EcoDisc glasselevators with seawiew. and 3 normal elevators!

  • And those hall station butttons are the biggest buttons I've seen for an elevator.

  • It is a KONE elevator because of the chime.
