  • Do people even realize these are concepts of moral development taken from Piaget and Kohlberg (who actually conceived of a 7th stage of morality that was very close to spirituality)? Silly atheists and their sketchy ideas.

  • Well stated. From another point of view, I submit that there are at least seven levels of morality. At level zero, you care only about right now. Level one, you think about punishment and rewards but only for yourself. Level two, you think about the interests of your family. Level three, your community. Level four, your country. Level five, your species. Level six, all life on Earth. Most people I know are stuck at level four or below and refuse to even consider levels five and six.

  • Five stars but only for the good Morals!

  • regarding morals and how we obtain them through biological means, I highly suggest reading Franz de Waal's book, "Good Natured".

  • @QuestioProVerum

I am familiar with Frans de Waals work and as a primatologist, he has some ground breaking hypotheses. Also, I totally understand the evolutionary influence behind morality but my point for this video was to point out the delusional thinking within the religious community and the stages of morality.

Thanks for the response, and keep up the good fight!

  • @nebulajr I agree religion can be very disappointing, and the state of our nation in many ways has become victim to the sacrilegious efforts of the church. However, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, (I did not say get religion – Jesus separated himself from religion and you would have known that if you have read scripture - which I encourage you to), will shed greater light on your personal dilemma of not being able to discern truth about the nature of God the Creator.

  • @nebulajr You can argue all day long and make beautiful God gifted videos of your secular humanistic point of views. I challenge you to cry out when no one is around “God if you’re real show me.” For someone such as you, I am certain He will answer profoundly, quickly, and yes – most lovingly. Remember the invitation-it will be good in the days ahead.
