I saw one of these when I went on a trip to Barcelona. They had them in the zoo there. They look so awkward and adorable. I have guinea pigs and their mannerisms are so similar. Just a big fat ball of cuddles and snack begging.

Caplin's really awesome, and he's treated really well. He was born into captivity, not taken from the wild (his parents were part of a traveling carnival). It's not uncommon to see him around south Austin, and he's lots of fun to pet.

He's like a giant guinea pig and even does the same squeaking sounds. :3 They have these animals in our local zoo and they absolutely LOVE swimming. In fact they sometimes spend more time in the water than land. So cute, I would cuddle him all day. ^^
