The whole problem with heroes falling from grace began in season 2. The writers strike forced them to end the season prematurely and forced them to change, what would have been, the greatest season!
I'll tell you how HEROES should have ended. It shouldn't have ended! Bunch of panzee whiney babies complaining about 1 character ruined it for all the fans. then NBC made the awfully stupid decision to just stop the show without giving fans a true ending. All that time and money fans put into the show, then they just take it away. If it weren't for CHUCK I'd never watch NBC again for that crap slap in the face. Can you tell I'm mad still?

Well, I think they got exhaustion from wating from week to week and season to season which clouded their perception. I watched all seasons back to back renting them on Blockbuster Online. And he never shifted. He was manipulating people, but he was evil all the way through until the very end when he truly changed. He was just playing people other times.
they killed my interest in heroes when they didn't show the syler vs nathan/peter fight. It just showed me that the show had no balls what-so-ever. They had an entire half a season devoted to "Villains" with barely any hero vs villain fights..ever since season 1 they had just been pussying out on ANY real fights and fans just had enough. I know I did.
What's the point of all these powers if no-one ever used them against each other..that's why sylar was the greatest because he USED his powers!

If Hiro could get at least one power back, that should be teleporting. It's easy for them to make this. They just make him disappear with computer effects in one place and appear back somewhere else, but close. Or they could bring back time stoping. But that's probably harder and more expensive to do. And time travelling is pretty hard, too. They have to travel somewhere or build some fake city or something like that. Just too expensive! That's probably the reason for Hiro not having his powers.
....that was pretty immature. I was just frustrated that Mohinder's narration takes up so much time, it's iconic of the series and I love Mohinder, but when you have so much you need to squeeze into an hour, its kinda annoying. sorry if I somehow upset you.

Something just occurred to me. I get this was the volume 4 finale... but why is season 3 called volume 4? i don't get it. so i guess season 4 is volume 5. how did that happen?
Turning Sylar into Nathan in order to kill Sylar but bring Nathan back was the stupidest writing decision ever. Consider that in Season 2, they brought Mr Bennet back from the dead with Claire's blood. Why couldn't they do that again? I know it's less scary if you can just heal a character every time, but come on. That was the first thing to pop into my mind and I thought that's exactly what they'd do.
They're already forcing out next season's dumb problems. I'll watch it, but I won't enjoy it.

but it was a bit dissapointing at that point, i wish they could've shown more of the fight and less of nathan's death. To kind of make it seem like Sylar tortured him to death instead of just a simple slash to the neck

It's because season 3 was split in half into two story arcs or "volumes."
Volume 3 was the Villains story, and Volume 4 was the Fugitives story. And yes, season 4 IS indeed volume 5. Kinda confusing.

best line of the episode goes to sylar "mm..this is fun"
i think next season has these things in store:
-how peter got to the limo in time
-how peter got that scar in the future
-sylar fighting for nathans body back/nathan becoming more like sylar
-Mica with a more prominent role!
-MOST IMPORTANTLY its titled requiem so we should see some characters coming back :D
