  • thank you for the information good luck with the house selling

  • could you share some info on those dj shows

  • You may be talking about the YouTube DJs Northeast meeting. Just put that into the search, and watch the gilboogie video.

  • Hey DJCYRO, i want to know if you could recommend some lights.. One dj to another.. Thanks

  • @mebejonathan I really don't have enough text in here to go into that. it really depends on what atmosphere you want to create, and how much you want to spend. You can get really colorful with simple LED moonflowers, or you can go classy with moving heads. There's so many directions and looks you can achieve.

  • awesome party man! looks like they loved it!

  • Great one !!! Good to see you again

  • MAN YOU HAD THEM FIST PUMPING LIKE IT WAS JERSEY SHORE!!! LOL

  • Good to hear from you DJ CyRo!

  • hey John , u look well, how u been ?? i interested in waht u played before and after sandstorm.everyone tells me , that sort of dance music is not popular, but u guys always play sandstorm. and they love it. so y not experiment a little at these school gigs .

  • I've found that it depends on the crowd. For example, if I have an urban crowd, house music doesn't always work. But if I have a bunch of teenage white kids, it usually does. But I can't play a ton of it. I have to mix it up a bit.

Thanks for watching and the comments!

  • I really don't know what I play BEFORE Sandstorm. I guess I just feel it out, or throw it on if I get a request. But I have a mix that is Sandstorm/kernkraft 400/Satisfaction(benassi) that I normally play, then I'll normally mix that into some Bass Hunter and then some Cascada. By then, they've jumped so much, they're pooped, so I slow it down.

  • Coolgig log kids were having a blast!!

    thanks

    MM

  • nice to see you back... what kinda sub did u get?

  • For this gig, I plugged into their system. They had some HUGE LS808 type subs. I don't think they were Yorkvilles, but they looked similar. I think the student there running the mixer board may have fried an amp, because 30 min into him blasting peoples ears off, we started smelling a burning smell! LOL

All i used as this gig was my mixer and my 2 laptops.

  • Oh, I did say i got a new sub. hehe I got a used B52 Band Pass. I think its 1000w peak. It will hold me off til I can get a Yorkville.

  • good to see you back posting vids...

  • you rocked it out!! welcome back
