I had this phone. It was my first android phone. Before that I had the gravity before that I had 4 Samsung flip phones. They were all better than that phone. At first it was awesome fast 3g very good phone.....then came android 2.2 it killed it I couldn't download stuff couldn't use internet and couldn't even call. Got the sidekick rook it back got the galaxy s 4g EPIC SAUCE

It's amazing how snappy and fast this phone is when it was brand new. After 2 years of owning the MT3G and two software updates, the phone is extremely sluggish. Apps take forever to load, texting is impossible, the screen often incorrectly guesses what I'm trying to tap or type. Time for an upgrade, I'm waiting for the HTC Sensation or T-Mobile's version of the Samsung Galaxy S II.

@Degenerate724 the new version of this phone came out this year its the exact same thing with a 3.5 mm headphone jack but still on this one it had it you just had to connect the charge port to it. its not like your going to listen to music and charge it at the same time, you'd probably kill yourself..

Now it's $99.99 USDollars, because They came out with the slide, And they weren't going to have 2 Mytouch's both over $200.00 In total, Since the Slide was new ( of course) they made it cost more, Problem is, they lowered the price because all the people that bought it when it was $199.00USDollars wasted 100 Dollars when they could have just waited for the slide, cuz I bet they knew they would low the price when a new one came out, which was the slide... --NiaSharma---

hey guys. well i bought my my touch 3g like 4 days ago. the users manual for the my touch 3g 3.5 jack says when the phone is charging the indicator light at the top of phone by earpiece should be a solid red. well i noticed that it is not really red it is more like orange or amber color? is it orange on all my touch 3g with 3.5 jack or is it my phone? should i return it?
