and as pidgeone says your lot came running over to our lot we all ran to the front shouting our clubs name then your fans applauded us & ours relaxed.
was gutted 4 us cos we missed play offs
but sort of glad you stayed up.
towns like burnley always punched above their weight & football needs clubs like both of ours... so although you are premier boys again dont ever 4get from where you came in 87.
i was at that game in the orient end i wouldnt say you were animals but at 2-1 with us attacking the guys trying to climb into our end were get worrying looks from O's fans to what would happen if we equalised. met one of your lot on holiday
& he was impressed with orient fans turning up his words you wouldnt have got outta burnley alive...
One of my big memories from this game is Burnley lads running over to the away fans at the end of the game. i was dreading the outcome. But remember seeing them shaking hands and exchanging scarves. It was great to see. No one had trouble on their minds that day.
And as for Burnley as a place to live, I lived in Leytonstone for a while in the early eighties and it 's as rough as they get. And without the community that the "rough" areas of Burnley have.
Cheers to all Burnley fans fr signing the petition to save our club
We are in your debt , or are you just repaying us :D
