This is my favorite version of this song ... and I'm an enormous fan of Dylan's. I usually like his version of anything he's written better than other versions, but I first heard this song done by Ian & Sylvia on an Album in the early sixties and listened to it a good bit at the time--and it kinda stuck with me. In any case ... Dylan's written more great music than you can keep up with and the man's still writing great stuff to this day ... Amazing joker.
@wade477588 I agree with you on all counts. This is one of my all time favourite songs & was annoyed that I could not find it on YT. I only upload things that I want to hear and cannot find. :)
Other than Dylan's Town Hall rendition of this song I think this is the gold standard for Tomorrow is a Long Time. I mean, I come from the 60's, I come from playing and singing for 50 years, but what do I know, I'm just say'n .....
Absolutely lovely!

Suze Rotolo died this week.
I'm sure Dylan is pondering the short time he rocked to sleep in her arms.
Thanks for a great post.

It's not what you know, it's what you feel. If this is the best for you, it is and no-one can gainsay it.

I too have been carrying this version of this song around in my Rock-Ola of a head since 1963. I can't thank you enough for posting this!
