He forgave an adulteress and even forgave those that crucified Him. My point of Muhammed coming five centuries after Jesus, was that he talked about an event he was neither an eyewitness of, nor did he know anyone who knew anyone who was alive then. He stood vehemently on his claim that Jesus did not die. I mean, if someone comes 100 years later to say God told them Sept 11 did not happen they will either be termed a liar or lunatic. He forgave sins, and they said who can forgive sins, but God. Mark 2;7. Jesus told the story of the Jews and their prophets in Matt21:33-39. They killed the prophets, but not the same way they killed Him. The high priest tore his robe, saying Jesus spoke blasphemy; no high priest ever did this before, cos no prophet ever made the claims Jesus made.
