But they briefly led with the phones because they were touch, and then had apps etc, Only to end up slipping to other phones recently. Not gone yet, but they are starting to slide. I should clarify that I HATE apple, and would never buy a single product from them other than an iPhone or an iPod. The iPhone still has one of the cleanest interfaces out there and is a very reliable phone overall, for example the rapid release of new android phones has led to a lot of hardware issues that iphones don't have. For example, my old HTC droid incredible would overheat if I so much as viewed my pictures for two long, and I had THREE of them that all did that. I've seen a ton of issues as well in my friends' phones.

@cvssd1 That's not to say that I don't like android phones, the OS is GREAT and I would love to own one again-, in a few years. The reason I bought an iPhone 4S is because it has every feature I need, every app I need, a solid (albeit less open) OS, and a clean interface. I have no need for 4G, because at the moment nothing I do requires that kind of speed. It's more of a luxury than a necessity, and condemning a product because of it is stupid.

The huge difference there was that there were an awful lot of unhappy Windows users who could relate to what Apple was saying. The iPhone has the highest customer satisfaction ratings by a long, long way. Samsung won't win any iPhone users over with ads like these because they're not unhappy with their current phone.

Apple pointed out common gripes people have with Windows and pointed out those that did not affect Macs. This Samsung ad isn't pointing out a gripe users have with their iPhones, it's just insulting them. iPhones users (like Mac users) have the highest customer satisfaction rates in the industry.

Note how they tend to focus on exploiting children, schools etc because kids are easy to fool.
