TAKEN IN THE 60-70s...yes the teddy boys...always smart and neat....before ma time...but they wouldve handled anything that was threw against them at that time....the yanks had nothing like them...and couldnt compete with them
I love the early 70s, such a neat period, the left over hippies who want peace, the punk rockers who want anarchy, the rockabilly revivalists...all brought together by good ol rock and roll, and I love all of them, hippies, punk rockers, and rockabillys equally :)
This must be in the U.K. as the folks in the crepes and drapes are Teddy Boys" a subculture musically anchored in the 50s sound. Even the Beatles tried to mimic their look in the early days.
@boitapower I think he is enjoying himself, but finds them amusing. watch his face, especially when he's jamming out towards the end. He loves it. I see you've got quite a bit of groovy rare stuff on your chanel...
@amandakristyleeralls they do a better job than the white people in his earlier videos! hahahaa it's great. black people have taught white people SO SO much. thank you bo diddley.
@summermakesgood yeah, black people have taught white people so much. Where would the world be without all their contributions in science, medicine, engineering, literature, economics, etc.?
@jsteel715 What GREAT creed are you from? Not that black people were held down in any kind of way. If you could look around your ignorance you would see that black people have made contributions in the world, but don't let that break your confidence in your beliefs. We need more dumbasses like you. OH wait, apparently we already have them.

@amandakristyleeralls I'm embarrassed that you're white as well - however, we know that black people turned their backs on Bo Diddley over 50 years ago.
IF THESE GUYS HAD BEEN WHITE WOULD WE HAVE HAD THE BEATLES AND THE STONES....OR INDEED THE SIXTIES AS WE KNOW THEM....a very sobering thought....neil armstrong said one step etc....but a far bigger step for mankind was the first video posted on youtube...would anybody agree?.
Ever wonder how they put old videos on you tube?

I totally agree!!!
Plus, check Bo's expression, he doesn't look that happy to be performing for a bunch of proto-nerds...

@amandakristyleeralls You can't NOT catch that beat. The footage video-audio is not perfectly in sync (edited from more sources).
