Horses are people pleasers. There are some who die pleasing people. Their will often is put aside for the will of a human. Ever see a horse drop after a race because his heart burst? Or keep running while bones were breaking? They try to do what is asked to avoid the punishment also.
I agree that many horses with good riders do enjoy what they do. But I stand by my statement that these crashes are inevitable.
@mactine2k7 can i say, that, you think people who race horses are heartless bastards? my sister worked for some people, and they loved their horses, they wouldnt race them unless they were perfectly fine, and thru that my sis met other people who were the same, a horse will run with breaking bones not because it scared of punished ment, because its "herd" is galloping around it, and it doesnt want to stop.
@mactine2k7 "Horses are people pleasers." Ahaha... speak for yourself mate. I suppose horses a like people in the way they have different personalities.
but if you fall off in less than a second the last thing going through your mind is letting go of the reins, plus its alsp a relfex to hold on tight to anything around you, if i fell off i would hold onto the reins, and i bet you would to, obvi once you hit the ground you would let go, but yeah
@rotansilversplash Nope, you should ALWAYS hold on to the reins. Its like the same ratio as a mistake being the horses fault. 99.9% of the time you should keep a hold of them.
i dont mean to sound like i know it But! i think sum of theses riders are sitting on the most expensive amazing horses sometimes they dont actually have 2 RIDE as such and these horses are so pro that even wen they hurt them selves on one fence they will just keep goin....
not exactly these horses are prone to react to the slightest command from the rider, so yes they DO ACTUALLY have to ride, it would be impossible to do what these people do and not RIDE, don't make assumptions when u've never even been close to a pro horse like that
well odviously u have NO CLUE what u r talkin about!!!!!!!!!!! dude hav u ever sat on an expenseve or pro horse??????? not that it isnt great but omfg its a horse and still in my opinion the hardest sport in the world so shut up if u dont know wtf u r talki n about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
um well actually going faster when the jumps get bigger actually makes it worse especially when the jumps are this big, and like what thebluebot said... you have no clue what your talking about... btw great video :D
the horse @ 52 his rider fell cause he was giving him his head when he stumbled on the poles and he gave him his head by leaning forward instead of lengthening his reins
@LuckyLilBear I agree. The rider shifted his whole weight out of the saddle unbalancing the horse rather than just allowing his hands forward so it could have its head.
I was wondering can i use this video? xx

I think it's a lot to ask for these and any horse to consistently jump these heights. I think what happens here is inevitable.
