this is a whole different translation from utada's the first line of utada's translated into english is : '' The last kiss tasted like tobacco" In japanese this is it "saigo no kisu wa tabako no flavor gashita" :) This songs makes me cry though in english because it reminds me of the my first love & I am still in love with him and my situation is tough.
