It's not that Jerry is bad at L-Cuts. It's probably because this is a COMPANION DVD. Remember this DVD is the DEMO of Encyclopedia of Playing Card Flourishes. Maybe he wants to give a slow performance, which gives the viewer time to watch and learn the moves. Some moves like the spring you can't really slow down, but thats pretty straight forward.
