I haven't used iMovie in year, in fact since 06. As a matter of fact... I had to do a clean install on my computer, and I don't have any of my iLife applications anymore, guess using and iBook with Leopard really caught up with me... anyways... I use Final Cut Pro, that is until I get the enough money for a new mac. But iMovie 09 at least for me looks like a too complex thing for a "basic editor"!
