@stewartx5 there is no possible way somone would steal weapons to use on the streets. You may be confused or seen 'LORD OF WAR" one to many times but the military's weapons are the most secure/ accounted for pieces of gear we have.

The military could very easily prevent most gang members from joining. All recruits must have a physical exam before enlistment, during which gang tatoos and similar are fully visible. Since none of the services take advantage of this to eliminate suspect individuals, it's clear they don't really want to eradicate gangs within the military. In addition to training, gangs member also use this opportunity to steal military weapons and hardware to later use on our streets.

First off let me say that all gangs are less than shit and need to die but not all of them enter the military for these reasons I know a marine recruiter who was in the MOB and he changed his life thanks to his military carrer some people just want to change their future is it wrong that the military as dropped their standards yes but they have the best intentions of changing the people they train for the better

@donny27dsm Gangs in the military are certainly detrimental to safety of other service members and operations overseas. They don't defend anything they do it for their own personal gain, whether its money, the opportunity to kill or the training its self. A very good friend of mine went through and entire deployement in Afghanistan cheating death only to come home and get killed by a gang member who was in the miilitary. they killed him because he didnt want to join. STAY OUT OF OUR RANKS!!!

In my opinion the standing rule should be if you were in a gang or claim a gang you are barred from joing the armed forces. There is no room for that kind of mentality in the military.
