She bounced back from ovarian cancer that had spread to her lungs...she lost her hair and her fingernais. Not only did she survive but her hair and nails grew back longer than before, she says. She's in school finishing up her Masters in Divinity...AND!, she graduated from ministry school. I was in tears listening to a radio interview where she talked about all this. She is an AMZING, AMAZING woman..and her musical talent is off the charts. A voice of an angel....

I remember seeing this episode about a month ago. I was so excited to see her. Then I looked at the dress and wondered what was she thinking cuz she is so gorgeous but the dress is awful and then to see Vanity come out with a dress that KILLED...I can say these things cuz i'm going to support my girl UNGELA no matter what...OH, RONNIE was FEELING her as well... I think this is when he was behind her 100%..
My Goodness - I've been looking and praying for this particular episode of soul train. Televised in 1988 0r 89, this is my 1st time seeing this since back then. When I saw it back them it was my 1st and last time seeing it. But it was such a powerful performance, it stood out and I remembered every detail of it. Thanks so much.
