  • That's pussy shit

  • not to be a troll but there was nothing in the cannon i could tell from the sound :/

  • Can you please email me the exact plan at kingmong_408@yahoo.com

    Thank you

  • wow mine looks just like yours except i have a 4x24" and 2 3x12". im so lucky my dads a mechanic otherwise i wouldnt have a 50 gallon air compressor.

  • I have seen other using a bike pump for the air source. Its a little more mobile for me, and I don't think that I would have electrical access anyway. can I use a quick disconnect coupler with a bike pump?

  • @scottiblasto my dad has like a 5 or 2 gallon air compressor and i think there are like 1 gallon air compressors that run on 2 or 5 9volts so get one of those. since i do this at home i use my dads 50 gallon air compressor

  • Hey the picture in the beginning is darkwatch the game

  • Is that 2.5 inch sch 40 PVC? I can't seem to find it anywhere, not even a professional plumbing supply store. A tennis ball is 2.5 inches, so I need the pipe to fire a tennis ball.

  • In this case, he aimed a dog

  • Could you post a tennis ball hang time shot for me? I would like to compare hang time with a couple of my launchers.

  • What is the point of having the bigger tip at the end

  • iv seen better like "AT-4 Cannon building Guide

  • easy enough to make i got all the supplys =) and i have made similar cannons but all attached to a air compressor

  • This site is very expensive, but has some good ideas.

  • how tight are tennis balls in the 2.5 inch barrel.

  • 1cm gaps all around

  • What size barrel did you use for the tennis ball? and where do you get the shrader valves from?

  • The barrel is 2.5 inch pvc. And you can get the valve from a auto store sold as a tire valve stem, or you could cut up a bike inertube.

  • No need to worry, we have one of those that's several years old as well. That one goes to the desert and gets dropped, run over, etc. It's still going. The over and unders actually do have a piece of high density foam between the barrel and chamber. You probably can't see it. These guns are precisely built, so there is no wobble or flex. They are very strong. Grab your self a pair of plans and put one to the test.

    Happy Shooting

  • Very well, I won't be making any of those guns anytime soon, i prefer to desisgn my own, and sprinkler valves aren't the beast as far as opening speed of flow. I see on your tennis ball gun and other over/under guns, you have a hose clamp or something hold the barrel; you would greatly increase the longevity of the gun if you cut a piece of wood or stock foam to put in there as a support.

  • I'm glad you asked. We still use one of the first Tennis ball cannons we built. It is almost 6 years old and still going strong. The paint is a bit scratched up, but the cannon is using all original parts including the original valve and trigger. We have shot Rocks, Gravel, Water and Fruit with this cannon without any damage. I know of several others that are at least 3 years old and haven't needed any repairs. That's why we've been in business for almost 8 years now.

  • impressive, the ones that really worry me however are the golfball/simple guns. With a long barrel like that there is a lot of stress on the joints of the sprinkler valve. Also, with the over/under launchers, it would increase longevity and durability to cut a piece of stock foam or wood and put it in as a barrel support.

  • I could make this same gun for around $30-$50, yet your site sells even crappier guns with unsupported barrels that could easily break off starting at $300. I know this because I have made 2 smaller and better made tennis ball guns and am making a larger one now. I have losts of experience in the hobby, so don't say I'm ignorant.

  • I would never call you ignorant. Clueless maybe, but not ignorant. Our cannons are the number one selling air cannons online for a reason, they last for years. To call our product crappy shows your lack of integrity and low self esteem. Why would you even bother to post such a rediculous comment. You obviously have zero business experience!

    Happy New Year!

  • "Our cannons are the number one selling air cannons online..." Can you back that up then?

And how long has one of your cannons lasted?

  • I agree with fishboy, I have made multiple gun which I have had for 5 years, and they are all made out of standard plumbing pvc. They each cost me 30 bucks and one afternoon welding the pipes.

  • It needs to be able to push at least 85 PSI

  • Standard pvc is rated to 120 psig.

  • what is the name of an irrigation store because ive been to a few warehouses and cant find a piece with the right size.

  • All pipe is purchased from Hydroscape Irrigation supply.

  • hey what size barrrel did u use for the tennis ball and also were did u buy it at?

  • The Tennis ball barrel is 2.5". You have to go to an irrigation store to get most of these parts.

  • Why would someone want this?

  • i dont see why u would buy it, just go to Home Depot and by the pvc for 30$

  • 1st. I'll give you $1000 if you can get all of these parts from Home Depot for $30.

2nd, I offer a service to those that don't have a drill press or the time to assemble these cannons themselves. If you can find a better deal on the web, go for it.

  • @webgraffix its the store u buy from lowes sells the 2.5 barel in my area, tampa fl

  • Home Depot doesn't carry the correct diameter of pipe and all of the fittings. That's why BIGBOB is such a dumbshit.

  • do you have to hook up an air hose to the trigger system or do you just pull it?

  • You pressureize the cannon first, then just pull the trigger.

  • thank you

  • thats sick
