Hopefully though, their next generation one's WILL be much better; taking into account the first Phenoms were not as good as the Phemom IIs, for example.

@GamerFreakzCOM I'm still allowed to criticize a product if I don't think it's up to par with the competition. The 8-core was aimed at the mainstream market, but I still think it is more of a server side CPU; which is where it excels most.

Yes, but what I'm saying is that their next generation of BD should completely trump this gen if they sort out cache latencies and if MS create a better scheduler for this type of architecture in W8. That's when we'll see the real competition.

This motherboard has funky setup only one PCIe x16 slot 3 PCIe x8 and 2 PCIe x4 why couldn't it have been 2 PCIe x16 2 PCIe x8 and 2 PCIe x4 and where they placed one of the sata ports is very unusual why didn't put it next to the rest of them. Oh and myself I like the motherboards that have the usb 3.0 expansion slot at the bottom but thats just me.

Some type of Bulldozer when it fails to push the other cpu's out of the park so to speak, I'm surprised nobody is just staying with the Thuban core's as they're dropping in price, wait for AMD's next or convert to Intel. Everyone can root for the underdog like some AMD fanboys, and yes GPU's in both Nvidia and AMD always switch for who's on top. But for cpu's, Intel's generations above AMD it's just unbearable to watch, and for them going beyond about their new lm3 cache architecture, pathetic.

I noticed a couple of things... 1: It says 16GB of Memory on the front of the box, not 32GB that you mentioned during the anboxing... and 2: "Coaxial" is a kind of SPDIF connection and also "Optic Wire" is another kind of SPDIF connection, which is the second one there by the Coaxial... Hope I'm not too "geeky" noticing stuff like that or too spiteful for bringing them up. :)

@dantezoa Well Mr Geek if you look closer to the box you would see it says it supports a maximum of 32, so you fail there, and the round digital connector is called optical or coaxial depending on who you ask. It is not another kind of SPDIF!!!

@motherboardsorg Dude, about the memory, you should really have a look at their site, it says 16GB maximum! Moreover, "optical" and "optic wire" is the same thing! "Coaxial" is NOT optical (it transfers electrical signal, not light)! Both Coaxial and Optical are digital, both Coaxial and Optical are SPDIF! Man I'm sorry if I created any tension among you or any other subscribers! Love you and I love your channel.
