Oh man...this level...this is the only game (in particular this level) that made me CARE about the NPC's (when I wasn't forced to protect them). I was always sad to lose any men, especially Langteau in "Rough Landing" and Kelso in this one

i am brazillian and i don't speak good english.I really liked this game when I saw the cover it said it was just one of those war games, but when I played it I realized it was much more than that, was the representation in the design of a war that killed millions of people.

fuck everything and run, at the start what you did was great, (first 2 engagement areas) i just run past the 4 houses and the crater, then throw frags at the panzi's then pick up ammo, run by then blow up the last tank with the panzershriek and grenades :/

Call me what you wish but I always aimed for the groin so I could see my stats at the end of a level say how crotch shots I got =), or sometimes I 'd shoot thier feet to see them dance.

Great vid! Love the fact that there's no check points so you need to hone your skills to do the perfect play through. If you buy a PS3 don' tmake the same mistake I did and trade in these classic shooters. I'm currently replacing them with copies I've had to purchase off ebay.

yea, the only realism knock i had on this game was that tanks could be taken down so easily, and that you never saw a friendly tank at all. other than that, what a fantastic game it was, great balance of realism, difficulty, and enjoyable gameplay!

Great game what I remember of it but it seemed kind of stupid that you could knock out a German tank usuing just a fixed machine gun and then there were the historic errors like having a Stuka dive bomber on sea floats and the C-47s at the end instead of B-17s or B-24s.

best level of a WWII game i've ever played, hands down. the attention to detail is spectacular. for example, when you shoot some guys who are on the roofs of buildings, you see them stop, look at the wound, then fall. you don't really see stuff like that in newer shooters...

hard level the waffen guy are really strong and the music is just so beautifull. One of the best ps2 game ever, graphic, music, gameplay just amazing. Just one thing turn me off is you can destroy a panzer IV with a mg42 lol :D but overall just perfect

I played this game to death when I first got it. I got so familiar with it, I wouldn't use crosshairs just to see how far I could get. I don't think I finished the entire game on hard mode before though

Nope this is hard level, no cheat codes, I'm just so damn good I make it look easy! If you watch when I get hit you see how quickly the health meter plunges into the red, it only does that on hard mode. Also it takes many canteens and health packs to get me in the green again.

ummm I was at full health and it knocked me almost 1/4 down.. then from 3:00 to 3:30 I only got shot a few times and it almost killed me.. I only play on hard level. Go hard or why bother? next time I post one of these I'll show the difficulty level.

no, you have to get a dvd recorder, and some blank recordable dvd's. The recorders don't cost very much now. Less than a blu-ray player.

I recorded it with my dvd recorder while I played the game, put the dvd in my computer and saved it as a video file. It takes a bit of work, but it looks better than recording your tv with a camcorder.

LOL I shot him because he's annoying, he always gets in my way. The only friendly fire that can kill him is if you toss a grenade at him, or blast him with a rocket. One shotgun round won't hurt him. Sometimes you can knock that stupid red beret off his head.
