William Branham is not a part of the 'faith' movement at all. He was publicly rebuked by Hagin some 30-40 years ago for his error. The above piece takes quotes out of context from some wackos, and throws them in with some sane men (IMHO) and then paints them all with the same brush.

But I can certainly call on the power of God, over twelve legions of angels if neccessary, to stop a storm from hitting me or mine.

That is why Jesus could stop a storm that threatened Him, but didn't stop other things from happening all around Him unless He had the leading and direction of the Spirit.

If Peters is going to fabricate quotes for the individuals that he is judging, I find it hard to trust his objectivity. Hagin has said hundreds of times, in almost every sermon or teaching, that all revelation has to be vetted with the written word of God, and that if it doesn't line up with the written Word, then it is false, and should be rejected. He evern talks of one vision of Jesus where he asked the Lord to show him where the scripture confirmed what He was telling him.

It is hard to get frar into this when in the first minute there is such a fabricated false witness. Peters says that Hagin said, "Well, if you cant find these in scripture, thats OK, because I've received them from the highest atuthority-Jesus Himself taught me these things, so if you can't plumb it with the Word of God thats OK..." I have read every book written by Kenneth Hagin senior, and listened to multple hours of audio by him. He never said anything remotely similar to this.

This is so complex. Because when Jesus healed He ALWAYS mentioned the word faith. But the persons faith. I personally think repentance and salvation should be preached first. Like Paul he preached repentance and salvation. The healings are there to show that the Word of God is truth. 2) If so, what do the scriptures SAY (not what you think) but specifically SAY as to how we are to "imitate"?
