  • hey girl i love your videos

and i love seeing your cute face eveytime i watch your videos

and you are just really inspiring to me ans i just wanted you to know

  • that's basically how mine went. It's funny when people ask "your parents are ok with it?" and I'm like "yeah.. .why wouldn't they be?" Just because that's all I've ever had.

  • You are inspiring. Thank you for sharing.

  • Wow, you came out to your whole family when you were 15!!! Amazing - way to get the hardest part over and done with!

Anyway just to say your story was great - well worth telling, and your video was just fine :)

  • I wish my friend would tell his story... It was really funny. We all knew but the day he conformed it we were all so relieved...

  • Sweet story.

I'm not gay but do support them, no one deserves ridicule especially the gays.

I hope you live a great life, you deserve it.

  • you're adorable

and your story was adorable too

    xx

  • Wow,you are really brave to do this. :)

You're a strong person to even tell your story.

    You should be really proud.

  • lol it inspired me ... i just forgot to comment it lawlz....... but no i came out on like july or agust somehting like late july beinging agust but yeah thisi si hte video that made me say... okay it is okay yo comoe oout...

  • you're a hottie

  • Beautiful, flawless story. Your story touched me. My coming out story was incredibly stressful, but yours makes me smile.

  • Beautiful story. Thanks for sharing.

  • thanks

  • I am proud of you. I am happy you had a nice coming out story. The people in my family and friends know. I got a lot a of different reactions, but they all still love me. I just can't be out in my town, they hate us here. I am being strong and going to get out to a better place, which is easier to find now that the world is starting to except us.

    Dila

  • I'm in Texas too. I never officially came out. I probably won't for a while. My mom actually figured it out, but I don't think she told my dad. She talked to me about it last week...

  • Over the weekend, I gave a wedgie to a 48-year old woman. I was drunk, and she acted all offended at how 'inappropriate' it was, but secretly she kind of enjoyed it, and came on to me later on in the evening. I know this may not be the approriate place to announce the fact, but I don't care. WEDGIES ARE A HUGELY UNDER-USED DEVICE IN GETTING OLDER WOMEN INTO BED. There, I've said my piece and I can sleep easy now...

  • dude you're so lucky, you're brave to just announce it... loved your video and story, you're lucky

  • You look like Renee Phoenix(cute)

    any congrats for comeing out.

  • Ahhhh!

You are so pretty. I'm so glad you've some out.

  • you are very inspiring. and brave. belive it or not theres more lesbians by 40% that gay guys keep it up

  • that's hard to believe.. I believe it but it's hard.. you always see gay guys in the media more, and they seem more "accepted" well that's totally my view. and what i've seen

  • you are awesome and beautiful

  • Thank you :)

  • You've been lucky! Everything went OK, at least within the family... this does not happen very often!

PS when you smile you look a bit like Michael Stipe from REM! ^__^

  • Michael Stipe, hm? I'll have to look 'im up.

  • Yeah, well, it's not that you look like him, though... it's more a kind of resemblance like you could be his daughter, you know...! Kind of a family look, so to speak.

    ^__^

  • Thankyou RavenMae. You have inspired me at the very least.

  • You're welcome :)

  • Nice story.

    Thanks for sharing

  • You came out to them all at once? wow. You're lucky

  • Yep

  • That's kinda how it was for me... Except the gathering part. At first, my dad wanted to disown me, so... I don't really respect him anymore. But everything's cool now (a couple years later, lol). Woot for us, yeah?

  • omgg i felt ur story :]

it was so intense when everyone got in the kitchen.

    But can i ask u a question?

i havent told anyone about me being bi except for a couple of friends. my dad loves me, and we have a close relationship, but he is also a hardcore christian. my mom we dont get along, but she would understand, considering her bestfriend is gay. should i tell or keep it to myself for awhile. im 17, ive known since i was 15 like you :]

  • why don't you stop being dependant on your parent's and make your own decisions

  • Hee, 'cuz the law has you under your parent's guardianship until you're 18. And they pretty much have the roof over your head and the food on your table.

Besides, mzwuzgud seems to make his/her own decisions. He/she just isn't sure whether or not to bring these decisions to light.

  • The way I see it, you're old enough to where your parents shouldn't think it's a phase. If you believe your mom would understand, then I think you're in a pretty safe position. She could talk reason to your dad. And religion isn't always the enemy, though unfortunately you don't always see that side. My girlfriend was a Mormon when I first met her ;)

  • I think you should go for it. I don't sense any danger of being kicked out, and though things may or may not become awkward at the house, it's a great feeling to be out.

  • YOUR SO HOT R U SINGLE?????

  • Hee, no. I'm happily taken, but thank you for the compliment all the same.

  • great story! NOBODY would beleive me when i came out. It took a lot of convincing.

  • I loved your story! You gave me a little more inspiration and confidence. :) Thank you.

  • I'm glad I could help!

  • I do ramble. I didn't claim to be great at speaking, and Youtube is as close to a class as I intend to take.

    Huzzah for cheap shirts.

And third, no, there isn't a rule against being a feminine lesbian, but I do have a personal issue with changing me for the comfort of others. I am not how I look because I am a lesbian, but because this is how I am comfortable in my body.

  • k that was unnecessary. k thanks.

  • What was?

  • I actaully thought you were quite hot myself... ;D

I'm glad smalldick jr told me you weren't - cause I sure as hell would have gone away thinking you were one cute andro-lesbian...

And who knows what would have happened if I had gone away thinking something different than what he thought!!

    Teehee. Sarcasm kicks ASS...

  • Hehehe, hallelujah! You've been saved!

  • Simply the cutest andro gal in the world!

  • Ur right there's no rule against being "a girly looking lez" but there's equally no rule tht says tht all girls have to have long hair and wear make-up either. Jerk.

  • U'know what my dad said wen I came out? He turned to my mum and said "She gets it from your side of the family". What a gr8 thing to say huh?

  • Hehe, sounds like something my dad would do. He handled my coming out with humor. It's better than some reactions :)

  • Definately, no one I have told had a bad reaction and I'm so glad. There's been a little awkwardness and my mum is still despirately trying to get me to get a boyfriend but I'm sure she'll get over it. Best reaction (funniest) I've ever had was from my best mate "I KNEW IT!!! U fancy emo Jade dnt u?!? It's so obvious. U never stop smiling when she's around and u never do tht usually" lol

  • gosh, you're beautiful.

  • Thank you for the compliment.

  • don't you think it's much easier for women to come out than guys? At least i think so.

  • No, I wouldn't say that, really. To your family, your gender really has little impact on coming out. You are still their child. You are still gay.

You see a lot of men say that they hate gays, but have no problem with lesbian - if they're hot and not butchy. These are not the people (usually) that we come out to. We are not coming out to people who view us as sexual enjoyment, but people that know us.

  • If you asked me if lesbians are more accepted than gay men, it would make me think. However, I do not think it is any easier to come out if you're a woman rather than a man.

  • I remember this! I remember Ty was afraid you'd be left dead in a ditch. Silly Ty.

I think you're so brave to come out to your family in person and all at once like that!

  • It was easier for me than it is for most. I really didn't have to worry about being disowned/excommunicated/kicked out/beat.
