I do appreciate all of you guys who are going through this and stress is the main cause and believe me, I have went through rehab but I found out that it is a money maker!

So many people have lost their jobs and their ways of living and I feel so bad for them and yes I am blaming the right wing!

I just got out of the hospital from pancreatitis normal lipase is 150! Mine was 3 thousand!

I've been acute pancreatitis from a year ago due to alcohol and I want to drink a little alcohol such as beer.

@omarzine100 I went to years without an issue of drinking. I went to Savannah and had three beers and ended up in the ER. I was stunned, but that little bit kick my ass. Not good man. On top of that, I work out, have a strict diet and am mostly healthy. But my pancreas sucks. Don't do it.

@omarzine100 No way man! When you have had one bout, alcohol with food can trigger another attack and turn into chronic pancreatitis.

Ever since a little more than a decade ago when my mom was diagnosed with Pancreatitis, it hasnt phased her drinking one bit. Its nice to be away from the problem; however, my dad and sister are still stuck with it and like always shes a drunk. Im just waiting for her to kick the bucket, and to be honest, I am truly surprised shes made it this long!

This Doc says a couple ounces a night lol, try a bottle of champagne and a pint of vodka every night and say she not a medical mystery haha.

I would only get attacks when I went one a binge, Only after december 21st 2009 when I started hurting like hell for the 3rd time and found myself in an ambalace for the 3rd time Did I say to myself that this is not worth it and I knew that if i did not quit that I was not going to be around for my wife and 8 yo and 9month old daughters. I have not drink since now I feel alot better and have found so many wonderful things and feelings in life that I did not see nor feel when I was drinking.

Pancreatitis is a pain in your sternum that can radiate to your back and is extremely painful and in some cases can cause fever! Belching or burping and constipation may also be a problem! Answer me!

I was a practicing alcoholic for about 15 years (i'm 36), I have to admit, I fucking miss the hell out of drinking (espacially here, I grew up in New Orleans!), but I had to kick it because of the pain. give it up or die.
