The Minimum evacuation distance for 227 kilos of explosives is about 457 meters. The evacuation distance for 250 kilos would be doubled. The soldiers couldn't have been more than 4 feet away from the detonation. I guess you can use your common sense and say those soldiers were blown to pieces.

The air blast range for 227 kilos of explosives is about 100 meters. Thus with 250 kilos the blast range would be doubled meaning those soldiers wouldn't have had a chance to get out alive.
