  • I want one! How much?

  • Hey Superman, any chance you'd take on custom mod jobs? If so how much would you charge? :)

  • Do u think u can make a how too video? And do u know of any reason I would not be able to do this on my D7000 w/ the MB-D11 grip? Ty : )

  • @DanhNguyenster64

One difference between what I did for the D5000 with the third party grip is the gripcomes with a dongle that connects to the USB and shutter trigger.

The MB-D11 grip connects to the camera using pins in the base.

I do have a plan to mod a MB-D11 soon.

  • @superman60201 That sounds fantastic, when u do can u please post a how-to video?

  • This is fantastic, would you be interested in modding an MB-D10 and...do you know if a Mac running parallel desktop would work?

  • @VonWongPhotography

I do have on my schedule a mod to an MB-D11, they are similar.

I will have a post in a week or so.

The USB dongle doesn't currently connect to the iPad, and the usual Windows drivers are needed to power the PC Host side of the dongle set.

  • Would it work to attach USB dongle to ipad camera kit? does the USB dongle operate without software? thanks

  • The camera definitely continues to function properly, the iPad app controls the camera or you can pick it up and take shots yourself. The most current picture taken by you using the camera or by using the iPad app shows.

I also use Lightroom tethering import and Nikon Camera Control Pro with the wireless tether.

  • Does the camera continue to function properly? and the Ipad shows most current shot?
