Funny I have listened to this many times. Typically w/ eyes closed in prayer. Always seemed intrigued by the first 'picture' of woman praying. Never noticed till now the background of the crucifix or the image of what I presume is Mary to the bottom left. How can I get a copy of that picture? @Loiginer Indeed, the Patriarch of Rome set himself up as the sole authority, not the "first among equals". This has never been accepted in the tradition of the church. If the Pope re-enters communion with the other Patriarchates, he will again be considered the first among equals. While he is in error and out of communion, the de-facto leadership of the church falls on the Ecumenical Patriarch.
