  • These were not on the Toy Story 10th Anniversary DVD as "Toy Story Treats." Were they on a different special addition? I know a few exist.

  • i cant stop watching this

  • i should watch this when im high

  • oh no it's a combat Carl......

  • Used from September 7, 1996 to August 30, 1997.

  • These were used as the "After these messages/back to the show" bumpers for ABC Saturday Mornings during the 1996-97 season.

  • hey isnt that a combat carl in toy story

  • i remember seeing some thing like this when i was little every Saturday morning

  • Do you have the other army breaks or is this the only one?

  • @Goji73 I believe these are the only ones.

  • This should be the advert whenever this is shown on a channel with adverts, such as ITV or channel 4...

  • This is the only Toy Story Treat, I believe, that is not included on the Toy Story DVD. But that's maybe because it's a commercial break bumper.

  • aww. it's a combat carl.

  • Oh I remember this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ahh yes i remember this very well as a kid

  • Is that GI Joe? XD

  • @Dragonrider1227 kinda but not really. Pixar couldn't get the rights to GI Joe, since they wanted to blow him up in the movie. So this is "Combat Carl."

  • @gmcubed Ah yeah. I heard about that. Pity but I can't blame hasbro XD

  • Aw, Combat Carl. RIP.

  • epic fail

  • isnt that huge army man the one sid blew up in the beginning of toy story?

  • @lilsexyturk97 Its Combat Carl :)

  • @lilsexyturk97 u mean a combat carl?

  • @lilsexyturk97 yes but hasbro was upset that they were going to have Sid blow it up and wouldn't let them use it. (i took this one from the Pixar Wiki)

  • In memory of Combat Carl. We'll miss your marching......XD

  • What were they saying at 0:01 to 0:06?

  • @vinnielegostudios

    Its pretty clear...

"We'll be back after this break, don't touch that dial for goodness sake. "

  • @gmcubed I thought it was We'll be backafter this spring, don't touch that dial for goodness sake.

  • @vinnielegostudios it didnt say spring it said brake XD

  • Combat Carl...YA GUNNA DIE.

  • oh no....it's a combat carl

  • I remember with one ending in "after this we'll be right back."

  • gmcubed, are you sure these on DVD? I didn't see these under the "Toy Story Treats" section.

  • @GameStation3 Which release are you looking on? The ones in this specific video can only be found on the Ultimate Toy Box release. I'm guessing due to the ABC logos. But yeah, I'm positive these are on it, I ripped it myself.

  • @gmcubed I was looking on the 10th Anniversary DVD.

  • @GameStation3 Ahh, yeah, you wont find these on that one.

  • @gmcubed Are these the only "Green Army Men" ABC bumpers on the Ultimate Toy Box set?

  • lol they put in a combat carl

  • i wonder who plays the army guys voice's hmmm...mystery

  • @ClaireBear180 R. Lee Ermey

  • That doll in the second bumper looks like from the Pixar short "Knick Knack"

  • awesome

  • They used these during the 96-97 season. They stopped in fall 1997, when it became One Saturday Morning.

  • o my god a tank {sarge screams} boosh {troops say who cares and kiss the doll

  • This is on the special features

  • Can you give me more "Army Men march" bumpers please?

  • These are all that exist as far as I know.

  • How Long Did ABC use these Ids For their saturday morning lineup from Fall 1996? And when did they stop using them that season as well? gmcubed?

  • Honestly I couldnt tell you. In fact I only managed to catch a few of these. All I remember seeing back then were these army men ones, and the channel surfing Rex. Dispite watching "One Saturday Morning" on a weekly bassis, those were all I saw until the DVD release.

  • lol at 1:00 theres a combat carl i remember when sid blew one up in the first movie

  • lol good movie 5 stars and subscribe

  • gmcubed u got another subscriber!

  • i bought the bucket o soldiers from target just after seeing this movie for the first time last month.

  • Huh, who's the big army toy in the first chant?

  • it's the soldier sid exploded

  • They call him "Combat Carl". Though its supposed to be G.I Joe. They weren't given the rights because they didn't want him being blown up.

  • I never saw this before!

  • Whahaha. :P

    saturday mornig

    But what time?

  • THESE were shown on the Toy Story dvds too?

  • Its possible they were absent from the latest release. I got these from the Ultimate Toy Box.

Maybe they left these out due to copyright issues (since Disney no longer owns ABC). or maybe they ran out of disc space.

Or maybe its there, just hidden well.

  • I won't be surprised if it's on the disk. It makes little it any at all sence to make animations and only show them once during the release of a movie.
