@frezze212 I'm training as an engineer aboard car carriers, and my last vessel had it's own Toyota Pickup Truck for use aboard the ship, for carrying lashings, equipment etc about the holds. It didn't have registration plates, so could never leave, and despite being over 5 years old (It was aboard the ship when delivered from the yard), it had only done a few thousand miles.

spent time on 4 different car carriers but we did not drive up for morning coffee unless you were on stern ramp watch then go get some coffee from the galley or crews mess.
