  • amen i wanna get some from him...

  • 1655 North Glassell Street, Orange

  • I believe he is at Goodfellas Tattoo in Orange.

  • Hey umm where is turbos shop?

  • "i alwathes enjoy tattooing tod" "I jutht can't keep my hanths off him"

  • Respect. but it looks like a cover-up towards the end

  • it makes sense that a Tattoo Artist would become an Orthodox Christian, since the Orthodox actually have a theology of Art .You've probably read St John of Damascus' writings on Icons& St.Basil writes some amazing stuff about the importance of sparkle as a symbol of Divine-Energy. The Orthodox Divine-Liturgy really does seem like heaven on Earth. The theology of the place of physicality interpenetrating the Spiritual as exemplified through the Transfiguration,Incarnation & Resurrection is+Love+

  • I'm a Christian and I have tattoos, freedom in Christ.

  • I think tattoos now are diffierent then they were befor back in the old testament. If your getting something demonic ofcourse it's not ok. But tattoos are like brands on clothing. We as Christians choose this as not only a form of art but to show what brand we represent. Jesus Christ. Many people read the bible and see it as just a history lesson and will never truely understand it or apply it unless they have a relationship with the one who designed it.

  • 'Your body is a temple' - Yeah, have you seen curches and temples?... They are decorated to the max!! So what the f*ck. Decorate your body. What's the problem?!

  • mannnnnn THIS IS NICE BROO.....NICE NICE NICE......

  • this is what i was lookin for!!!

  • What city is turbo in?

  • the tattoos it says not to do in the Bible are lil different than the ones now lol they Biblical ones were more of mutilation marks...

  • idnt get it??? we are all sinners........????we get new bodies when we goto heaven......so if we get a tatoo, its a sin.....sin its sin...if ur a drunk ur sinnin...no sin is worse than the other....

  • Tatoos are a PAGAN custom. We are NOT to be like them [Pagans]. Christ called us to separate and sanctify ourselves, BOTH, in the heart AND IN OUR PRACTICAL LIFESTYLES. Theres many debates whether tatoos are considered a sin or not.... lets not dwell on that. But let our focus be to put away the carnal man with his lust, OBEY GOD and LIVE. This message is THROUGHOUT Scriptures, both New and Old Testament. Even after Yeshua (Jesus) healed the sick, the Lord commanded them to go......

  • 4:50 the guy says "i wanted to put a sin on my body" Oo he just said tats were a sin, did he not?

  • @DrRastahaze depending on the tatt he got.... it could be a sin.... bad tatts(evil , sexual, inappropriate, sac religious, drugs) i would consider a sin, decorate the Temple(Us) , dont vandalize it.

  • ok, maybe someone can help me out. are christian tattoos a sin or not?

  • omgsh, CRAP, i almost fell for this turbo dude, if he is in a cult i am never getting a tattoo, OMGSH OMGSH OMGSHHH, sooo creepy eeekk!!!

and it's true i looked it up and he is in this death to the world cult thing, creepy

  • im lucky i dont have to struggle with tatoos, im too hairy anyway. tatoos can spread diseases, the skin is the largest organ of the human body. --Why do you do the things you do, and who do you do them for.

  • He charged me $400 for 2 1/2 hours of crappy work.....then the next day I look in the mirror and there are things in there that shouldnt be there....from one straight walking Christian to another...BROTHERS and SISTERS....PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont go to him.

  • @bobbywells010 absolutley......but I got a tattoo from this turbo guy and he thought it would be funny to put some inappropiate abstract art in there. Look at Todds chest.....the angel has his sword to his own throught. Turbo also belongs to a cult group called "death to the world", look it up. They have alot of girls hangin in there with skimpy clothes and listening to black sabbath?

  • dont go to this guy.....they are in a cult

  • I was just curious. On the angel on your chest, why does he have his sword at his own throat?

  • Hey i'm all the way over the other side of the world in New Zealand and love this clip you've posted!! Have be saved for 5 years have a hand full of good tattos but would love to have some one like turbo thats christian to work on me. Do you know any other good christain artist's around the world or how to get ahold of turbo for a booking. I will be coming to the US next year.

  • I think it is awesome that you got all those tattoos on yourself. It is like it tells a story of Jesus' life and I think that is pretty cool. I am thinking about getting a cross tattoo on my forearm. I am fifteen now and I got baptized when I was twelve. Again though your tattoos are pretty cool.

  • Oops I meant edge of our beards, not temples.

  • Similarly, Moses is saying that they should be separate from the surrounding nations and not tattoo their bodies as an offering to the dead. The issue, along with all issues of the law is a matter of the heart. The Pharisee's practiced these things to a tee, but they did not the God and their hearts were evil.

Likewise, we can tattoo ourselves in good conscience provided we are doing it for the right reasons, to offer ourselves as a sacrifice to the Lord, bringing Him glory with our bodies.

  • @pitaman7 The bible also said to kill your neighbor if he works on a sunday

  • Comment removed

  • First of I'm pretty sure that as Christians we're not concerned with rounding of hair on our head and marring the edge on our temples. So if we can't tattoo, then we better also have people watching those in barber shops very carefully to make sure they are not sinning.

Secondly, in the context to the verse, Moses is speaking to tattoo for the dead. Prior to in the paragraph it says, "You shall not interpret omens or tell fortunes."

  • @pitaman7 "You shall not interpret omens or tell fortunes." but for Joseph it was ok :S

  • Unfortunately arcangel, you've misinterpreted this passage. Remember that the Levitical Laws were for the Jews at that time and not all of them apply to us anymore, like many of the food laws for example. For example, do we adhere to the verse right prior to, in 27.

Here are both verses: "You shall not round off the hair on your temples or mar the edges of your beard. You shall not make any cuts on your body for the dead or tattoo yourselves: I am the Lord."

  • @pitaman7 That's a cop-out if I ever heard one, you sanctimonious, self-righteous piece of shit. The only thing I hate more than Bible-followers, is the people who think that they have the Bible's blessing even though they can't follow a single rule in it. You suck.

  • You do know that as a Christian you believe that Jesus died for the sins of man as payment of those sins.

If youre such a follower of Leviticus, then tell me how many homosexuals, naughty children, adulterers and people working on the sabbath that you've stoned to death in your lifetime? If the answer is zero, then YOU need to read the Bible and live by it instead of selectivly quoting it to complain about what other people are doing that you don't like.

  • Tell me arcangel do you have the right to say if somone is a christian or not? only GOD can judge people, so please keep your judgments to yourself!

  • Jesus did set us Free from this world and we life in the spirit so our body's are a temple of God and with Christian tattoo's we show that just like you give your church building a nice picture its to show on our own that we love Jesus and we want the world to knowe Him!

  • @opgestaan i wish my dad could understand that comment... he dont like tattz at all, he old school... =/

  • i absolutly love th colors man! they are seriously sick

  • i love the part when he says.. things that as a person, christian or not, ur gonna have to face..

that's y im gettn mine.. i wanna represent n if like 100 guys ask me why i got it or the story behind it (its religious 2 and detailed) and just 1 trys to find love cuz of that tatt.. the pain and money was worth it..

pls dont write me and tell me christians dont get tattd or smth.. i got the answer after 3 years

  • sweet tatts and this was a nice video

  • You are doing such a great thing by making your body a story book to show and share the work about Jesus Christ. I am wanting to get a half sleeve to do the same thing but i am just trying to think of some good ideas... =)

  • wow that was really well done!

  • Last time I spoke to him, he was still at Goodfellas Tattoo in Orange, off Glassell. I think they opened another Goodfellas nearby, but as far as I know he's still at the Orange shop.

  • Where is he located? I'm very interested in getting some more work done.

  • great work

  • It showed at the Biola Film Festival and won Best Editing and Best Documentary. I submitted it a few other places, but it didn't get in, so gave up trying. I really wish I would have finished it more actually... and added music to it to make it more polished.

  • Was this entered into any festivals?

  • Great video! As a tattooed christian myself being tattooed breaks a language barrier with people who don't know christ and when they ask to see my tattoo it's easier for me to share my faith with them. God works in amazing ways. Keep up the good work. =]

  • i very much respect you both in this video and i personaly am getting a upperback piece of the crucifiction scene on the left and heven on the right side with the words "glory bound" in the middle. I really liked how you said Jesus went through so much pain, and tattooing cant even compare. I love this video

  • Unfortunately a lot of people seem to really miss the context in which Paul speaks of our body as a temple for the Holy Spirit. In 1Cor. 6:19, Paul is referring to sexual immorality. In 1Cor. 3:16 he is referring to division in the church of Corinth. It's a shame that so many Christians want to condemn a righteous man like Turbo (Whom I know personally), because he said "damn" and is a tattoo artist. He does more for the Kingdom of God with his gifts than most other Christians I've met.

  • Amen Brother.

  • I am a Christian I do not have any tattoos but i am about turn 18 in 2 weeks and then i am starting. But I have no problem with a christians cussing. The bible doesnt say anything about actually cussing. When it says do not curse i feel like when you cuss dont be offensive. If I am wrong could you please correct me. But I like your comment quite a bit

  • Hey man how are ya?

We're all too wrapped up in what we can and can't do. Rules and regulations. Being tied down and a slave etc. But here's something that's I reckon is good advice from Jesus. He said in Matthew 15:18 But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and it is those things that make a person unclean.

Cheers mate. Have a good day.

  • YOU SHALL BURN IN HELL THEN!!!!!!!!!!

  • Whats that all about sir?

  • Followers of Jesus Christ should not curse, swear, however you wanna say it. I used to smoke, drink, and curse like crazy. But the Lord has since taken those things away from me , though it wasnt easy, and quitting drugs was just as hard as changing my speaking pattern involving cursing, but the Lord says He makes all things new. And like above, the mouth speaks from the heart, therefore if you curse, i can honestly say your heart isnt right.

  • Well I guess I can understand there.

I do not cuss anymore. But i still kinda thinks its alright if you cuss. As long as you are not putting someone down with it.

  • dude i think its wrong because Jesus said to live in the world but be different from it. You know what I mean? And practically the entire non-believing world cusses. Now I cant prove that statistically but just going through life has made me believe that. So why maybe put a damper between you and God, sure theres not any specific scripture on it, but flee the appearance of evil. Be different man, thats all I would ask...

  • when he said to live in the world but not be apart of it could he have ment "love your neighbor" and "pray for your enemy"

This is how we should be differnt from the world. To be gental with each other and non believers

    Just a gental sugestion

ps. Jesus cusses in the bible didnt you know? Do you think "Brood of vipers" was a good thing? It would be like me calling someone a SOB.

We create new rules in the church becuase just being in his presents is not good enough.

  • Leviticcus is an old law abolished. The same law says we must kill adulterness (stone her), wear beard, eat nothing with blood, etc... Galatians 2:16 Paul wrote that we are not anymore under the Law, cause the law was abolish with our faith in Jesus Christ.

Tattoos dont get one closer to God, everyone knows that, is the faith in Christ!

  • Yes, he did say a "bad word." But what makes a bad word, is it inherently bad or is it bad in it usage? I purposefully left it in. He uses the word for emphasis, not out of cursing. The word "damn" itself has no meaning, cept the meaning we give it.

  • @ 6:16 did that crhistian say a bad word....

  • People could get religious tattoos like this for many different reasons. what you might think means one thing...can mean something completely different to the person it is tattooed on. if you don't like their tattoo...don't look. oh yeah and keep it to yourself. just be glad it isn't on you. AWESOME tattoo by the way. i have the same piece on my arm (half sleeve) just black and white. props to us

  • Indeed, our bodies are Holy Ghost's temple; but this is not attending to physical characteristics in any way; black color skin, white skin, tattoed (¿?) skin, pierced skin...if it were so, a man wihout fingers wouldn't be as a "good" temple as he who has his whole hand.

Being Temple of the Holy Spirit has nothing to do with superficial matters.

We must obey and love with unconditional love; just as Christ did; just as Christ does.

  • Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print ANY marks upon you: I am the LORD.

    Leviticus 19:28

Also, what does your spirit tell you, what would Jesus do.

DO, you think that you would find Jesus at a tattoo shop, getting a tattoo?

Our bodies are not our own, our bodies, though they will be dirt one day, are still a temple of the Holy Ghost, which is in you..

  • well i carn't see Jesus looking up stuff on u tube either

how about the fact that the scripture you quoted is old law. if you want to stay in bondage to the old law that is up to you i hope you dont eat prawns or bacon etc as that is also in leviticus , in fact read lev again and ask your self if you r doing everything it says , judge not lest ye be judged

we are saved through grace not by works.

cheer up and support your fellow believers , not condem them lest you condem yourself .

  • as for tattoos being evil, c'mon , nothing of itself is evil , it is what people do with it that determines that . its sad to see christians so quick to judge. but it seems all the rage .

by this shall all men know that you are my disciples ,if you have love for one another , sadley it seems we only love those that are good and proper by our own standards .

my spirit is telling me to pray for your self righteous attitude JD

mate don't let your opinions consume you , let God

  • If you quote Leviticus as condemnation, I think we are all going to Hell

  • Corykorn, for one, we are no longer bound to Levitical law, if we were it would be a sin to wear a shirt of two fabrics or plant more than one crop in a field. Two, this verse is referring self-mutilation in mourning which was somewhat common practice among the Israelites. Look up Mark 7:15 as well. Tattoos in themselves are not sinful but I would encourage Christians to spend time in prayer about it before getting one as it may close doors in your ministry (as well as open some in many cases).

  • i would also like to add that the people of the time would scar themselves and pierce themselves for their gods, as part of their rituals and witchcraft

  • what shop is this at? i really enjoyed this film. great job man. very interesting.

  • Having a tattoo is not evil, it's the spirit behind it. If you get a tattoo to express God's creativity, thats perfectly fine. But if you get a tattoo out of anger/rebellion, thats a little different.

  • religious freak

  • faggot

  • that is to keikofromelbow FAGGOT

  • i hit about 4 t3s lol before my shading on my side

  • Its guy-model the CUTE...Kindred...

  • Alot of pastors and priests don't want to admit that they're sinners! The old testament laws still apply. WE are just saved from the penalty of the sins because of what Jesus did. It doesn't mean we shouldn't try to obey the laws. Tattoos are evil, they defile the body which God has created.

  • dumbest thing ever... thats like a black skinhead, god forbid you to put ink on you body or do any damage to yourself. he forbid tattoos.

  • Tattos are ugly and defile the body, the temple of God.

  • Wow, post modern Christianity...
