We were on our way to the library and a train came down and the library was closing in like five minutes so we were in a hurry. LOL the train stopped us and we had to wait for most the 5 minutes. We got there with like 1 minute to spare but the people let us get what we were looking for luckily before they closed. haha.
LOL I actually found it slightly amusing that your were so fascinated by Lawrenceburg. I suppose it's because I live here and I have seen all the stuff before. I can say that I never noticed the huge amount of vending machines until now LOL. Next time I drive downtown I'm gonna be looking for all those vending machines.
I've never been to the floating restaurant The rabbit statue has been moved to the fair grounds too. The Casino is called Hollywood rather than Argrosy now.
Last time we had Willie Nelson, Mark Farner, and Blue Oyster Cult as the main acts!...the Walnut Theater was closed but my dad is re-opening it as a music venue.
and the vending machine thing. we have a celebration every year called fall fest. its pretty insane for our small town. last year Willie Nelson was the main entertainment.
hey, cool video. i live in Lawrenceburg and the Walnut theater that you guys got to see, actual just closed down little over two years ago when a big cinema was built in the neighbor town of Greendale. It was a great place to go. im only 19 years old and that use to be the only place to go and hang out as a kid. alot of great memories in that place. and glad you guys got to experience Riverwatch! great place to eat!
Yes, the casino did kinda take over the town. I go to school with the people who put graffiti on the rabbit. I saw my friend's bike. That was the OLD fire department, nothing in it. You went into the brand new book store! I'm not sure about the theater, I hope the close is temparary. The abandoned house is the cat lady's house. Wow! I made alot of comments. I'm glad you enjoyed my town.
