  • I don't mean to sound mean! But this stuff is poison. The manufacturer of Splenda has admitted that Splenda is a seizure triggering drug. Also aspartame is the most complained-about substance in their history, Google it and don't take it. Run from it. It poison! I personally can tell the second I ingest it, it does many crazy things to my system; including my mind! Imbalance can manifest as mood disorders and seizures.

  • @Nookwerk Stevia extractions, processed by manufacturers are definately not organic.

    Fact:

Stevia extracts are (NutraSweet, Sweet 'N Low, Splenda, Truvia etc) a synthetic chemical compound! And anything synthetic is tailored by man and man-made!

  • Well i read that it does mess with blood sugars. Your body tastes the sweet taste and thinks its sugar and reduces blood sugar to prevent overload. Even worse is that it doesnt have any calorific value, so actually does even more damage.

  • This shit is just as bad as aspartame.

  • Wow, great video although very disturbing!! I use two heaping tablespoons of this stuff DAILY... and have for years and years. In the trash it goes! Can anyone tell me what is a healthy subsitute for sugar would be? I dont want to start using plane old cane sugar again, but clearly Splenda is NOT and option.

Thanks for the insight, my liver is greatful!

  • Very informative and helpful. Thanks, mike.

  • because i have people all around me that use splenda/aspartame/etc... some routine, some not so much. they are all perfectly fine people. i think you are making artificial sweeteners out to be much more evil than they are... from what i've read, they can cause almost every single ailment imaginable. nothing cures everything, and on that same note, nothing causes everything either. i also know plenty of women who delivered healthy babies even though they consumed artificial sweeteners.

  • oh, and i almost forgot... don't you have something more noble to do with your time than going against artificial sweeteners? not many people care and even if you try to "raise the awareness to them" when they are putting equal in their coffee, they are probably going to tell you to fuck off.

  • i'd like to know where you got that heroin quote; something tells me it's entirely fabricated becase splenda does not come close to the addictiveness of heroin! the withdrawals are not that bad... i've been a regular diet soda drinker (aspartame, mind you) for years and just lately i'm thinking of quitting because water is much better for you than anything.

  • addiction is not a side effect. the caffeine is usually what hooks people in sodas. not to mention the habit of drinking one during a certain event, during a meal, after a meal, etc. i don't think we're ever going to see people doing lines of splenda sweetener.

  • te he he he...good point!

  • People you should insist that the FDA be granted the power (and resources) to insist all Herbal Supplements/ Vitamins/ and nutritional/dietary supplements be proven SAFE and EFFECTIVE for their stated claims.

Stop waiting for bad things to happen before things are pulled off the market. Stop putting crap in your bodies that doesn't really work (Airborne, almost everything for weight loss that is on the market, etc.)

  • This guys chlorine information is bogus, you ingest Chlorine when you eat TABLE SALT, sodium chloride, and your stomach makes 1 N Hydrochloric Acid naturally. Once you digest that scientific fact realize that he is promoting Stevia, an "all-natural" alternative. The Herbal/ All-Natural industry has a larger lobbying group against the FDA, spending more money than pharmaceutical groups do on their commercials. FDA currently has limited power granted to them against these products.

  • We already know we cant trust the FDA because they wont even approve marijuana.

  • Splenda=evil.

I used splenda for nearly 3 years and thought I was fine, that is until 2 months ago, thats when the visitors invited me onto the mother ship, they helped me realize how crazy it was using this chemical potion

I was shown holograms of various glands and organs, I could see the damage this sweet pesticide had inflicted upon my temple

Upon leaving the elders transmitted by thought "Have you ever seen an overweight alien?" Ever since I have finished taking any form of sucralose

  • i stopped consuming any artificial sugars about a month ago and i feel great, no more migraines!!

  • SPLENDA KILLS CELULES IN THE BRAIN

  • You need to correct your statement that "only 15% of the sugar that is in Splenda". Fact: There is no sugar in Splenda at all.

The FDA doesn't require long term testing as a requirement of approving a food. You people who use it ARE the guinea pigs.

Splenda = Poison, I have 5 years of medical history to prove it.

My Splenda Slogan analogy - "Carbon monoxide - made from oxygen so it's like a breath of fresh air"

  • I always have stomach pains when I eat splenda and now I know why.

  • ultimately, it's your own body's constitution and chemical nature you have to worry about. Aspartame gives me migraines and I have recently discovered Sucralose (a cousin of DDT) triggers cold sores for me. It may not affect certain people, but do these people get regular checkups and blood work? Sucralose is still new to the public as well. Long term effects? Only time will tell. It may be too late for some people by then.

  • Its really the persons choice when it comes down to it because real sugar can cause heart disease, diabities and obiesity. I also reasearched tests that had been done they were on animals (which I completly disagree with) but anyways they were fed the equvilant to several thousands packets of splenda a day for humans causing those side effects reported.

  • Thanks for your informative video. My son used Splenda regularly. In fact, he used much too much Splenda in an effort to avoid sugar consumption. Last week, after 247 days in intensive care for Pancreatitis, my son passed away. I have just begun to fight.

  • The disinfection of water with chlorine is the source of cancer risk receiving most attention from the EPA. The Food and Drug Administration in 1976 restricted the use of chloroform that previously had been employed in cough syrups, toothpastes, and other common consumer products, such as Splenda.

  • i've been using splenda for over a year with no side effects, infact i find it much safer than sugar. the sugar after effects put me to sleep whereas I dont have that problem with splenda or sucralose.

  • U don't know the side effects. If your liver or kidneys r enlarged or anything else- u can't tell until it really gets bad.

  • not true. ive been drinking it in sodas for years. its harmless. nothing has happened to me, im in great shape and im quite happy.

  • A blanket statement like, "it's harmless" is irresponsible. You believe it's not harming you, fine. But the FDA has let other substances through the system that has really messed people up.

  • your SO RIGHT,FDA means squat to me!!!...They Approved Deprovera (i can attest to that Drug being extremely harmful!!)

  • I think the blister thing you mention is caused by herpes.........

  • Splenda/sucralose causes my mouth to blister, and FAST!

  • those side effets you listed also happen to be common sideaffects of diabetes... probably the most common users of splenda.

  • Paid off by big sugar?
