@JayZoop Yeah! I got a Gateway with Vista in May 2007. You know when it came? July 2007, yup and all the other brilliance of Acer infested this computer as well. Graphics card was broken to begin with, judging by how Gateway installed it, they probably half broke it to begin with, there appeared to be ram issues and I suspected something wrong with the HD. They built it cheap and put a do not use label and plastic piece on the correct VGA / DVI ports to use so it took a call to realize, assholes

This computer isnt as good as it looks. ( I own 2 of these except it has 8gb)

Ive had this for about 1 year already, i recently changed my graphics card to ATI Radeon HD 6870. I have mostly all my games in here, WoW,CSS,COD, etc...

But everytime you run your computer it will have a period of lag. What im trying to say is that before i used 5gbs of ram, it was running VERY smooth, no startup lag etc. So if you get this computer i recommend this. DO NOT download alot of games on this.

I'm the same way on the HP Pavilion Elite HPE-180t with a i7-920. I really like the resolution in the 27" on the iMac i7-860. However, I'm having a hard time adding another thousand to have that option. I the iMac i7 is great but the PC will be much more loaded and cheaper. Then I can still run Vegas Pro, Sound Forge, and those other expensive pgms I bought in the past. I haven't heard of anyone having luck with them in Boot Camp either. Dual boot is a bother anyway.

It has a mediocre graphics card in the nvidia GeForce 8600GT. However, it will play every modern game but not at at the highest settings. If you're a casual gamer, this would be sufficient. If you like to play games at high perfomance, I suggest you upgrade the graphics card and power supply.

No. The AMD is cheaper built then AMD, which means it WILL break sooner, it heats up quicker, so your desktop/laptop will have more heat, thus more fans, and if the heat sink fails the AMD WILL heat up and will get destroyed, overall Intel is a better buy with its durability, power ( featuring Intel i7), and less heat so it wont explode.

with geforce 8600 i doubt just upgrade it to 9800 for like 180$ and you should be able to max out crysis in 1400x900 in like 40-55fps for 1920x1080 you will need geforce 280 and with a result of 50-65fps.
