Or a much easier way to do this is right click the taskbar, go to properties and click on auto-hide.

All you have to do is mouse over the bottom and it pops up.

The best way to hide your taskbar is taskmanager, processes then end the explorer, this makes your desktop go away too but its an awsome prank, snapshot your screen then end explorer, they'll try to click on stuff but it wont work 8D
