Idina is a fantastic singer, but her upper range is somewhat poor. She fails to hit the higher notes in defying gravity and even no good deed at times. Not saying she is bad, but its true.

This isnt a hate comment but i really dont like Idina's voice on the high notes. really. Shes a great actress and can sing really well down lower but the belting and vocal range that is required for elphaba just isnt there...

Idina's crazy eyes in wicked truly suit the charicter, it shows how out of the ordinary she is. sure they are bizzare but if you were singing an extremly hard song 15 feet in the air your eyes would widen too!
