In Australia we have something similar called Mo-vember (in November). People raise money to grow a moustache (or beard etc) and then donate that money to Prostate Cancer Research. :)

@jakos202 Yeah it ends up going by a few different names over here. Neanderthal November, No-shave November, or Mo-vember.

Neanderthal November is just my favorite title of the three.

Hm I never thought you could raise money growing facial hair? That's kinda neat.
