I love the plot point of overturning a match that Red Dragon won months before the show started. It not only unclogged the system (three 9ki symbol Masters was a bit much I guess) but these little nuggets of story telling added a sense of history and the feel of a ligit sports competition. The fact that Red Dragon accepted this with little more than a bad joke show the positive values that this show tried to impart.

That logic is completely stupid. So the WMAC overturned a match that happened MONTHS ago? That makes the council look completely inept that it either took them that long to come to a decision or they just didn't notice until now. And they didn't even bother to show any footage of said match, nor do we hear either fighter talk about it. The only frame of reference we get is a disembodied voice giving the information out of no where. The whole idea is dumb on every level.

I should point out that Jamie didn't put chili powder in Red Dragon's gloves on purpose. He thought they were WARLOCK'S gloves, and he was trying to get revenge on Warlock for some pranks Warlock had been playing. For some reason, however, Great Wolf mistook Red Dragon's gloves for Warlock's, and he pranked the wrong gloves, indirectly causing Red Dragon to get himself disqualified later.
