so sad how people can get sucked in by air brushed photos and false advertisements promising amazing results. I would never get plastic surgery of any kind but if i did it certainly would not be off an ad on tv. So sad. grow old gracefully people
PLEASE go to a board-certified plastic surgeon who has experience doing facial procedures. Most sagging chins are due to a weak platysma muscle. Simply stretching the skin tighter will not address the fundamental problem. THe correct procedure is platysmaplasty, the muscle will be tightened and the skin will then be draped over without tension. Poster below claims good result from Lifestyle lift and "will go back". Why the need to go back? Get it done right the first time!
Please prepare your self better post lifestyle lift surgery as you are requested to sleep at a 30 degree angle yet expected to hold ice pack for 20 min every hour, we have a simple solution to this its the nuvo visage full face gel mask that has comfortable Velcro straps that fit over bandages and this cold gel mask will help with swelling and bruising and life you a life time of benefits check it out its the nuvo visage gel mask
I had the lift done in TN three years ago. It was the easiest surgery I had done...EVER. I dont' understand a lot of these comments about extra cost. my only cost was the 4500. which was quoted to me. I still have compliments about my looks at my age. (52 now)
I did however have a friend who was talked into having a chin implant which turned out bad for her due to a reaction to the plastics used.
The lifestyle lift was perfect for me...and I will do it again in the future.
skin stretched and then trimmed off will soon return back to it's pre-operation state. a correct face lift goes deep, lifting and anchoring the facial muscles and fat pads too. newer facelifts even go the the cranial level (face bones). the doc who cuts may be an internal medicine or family practice doc the rest of the week. no surgical training is needed to work for the company.
this company has been accused of all these negative things all over the web. a little research on the web you find most doctors-plastic surgeons-don't like the procedure. they contend it does not fix the problems because it's too superficial an operation. lifestyle lift doctors attend a SEMINAR to learn the operation! you only need to be a licensed MD, NOT trained or qualified in surgery or plastic surgery, to work for the company. a good plastic surgeon spends time with the patient!
Does not constitute a promise of any particular outcome. Patient recovery and results depend on their skin, age, health and other facts. Always do your research first, AND ASK QUESTIONS.
There is an extensive info kit you are suppose to ask for FIRST. It contains all kinds of pamplets, leaflets & about 5 cds. It sounds to me like these disillusioned victims..eh clients didn't educate themselves beforehand. At least u should be asking the consultant before & after basics, as with any surgery. U don't just walk away w/o asking for SOME instruction. Check their website. The BBB lists the complaints for this outfit. Bad news.
I actually work at the call center that takes calls for the Lifestyle Lift. What they pretty much do with these procedures and take your skin and stretch it out to it's max. You are given no sedatives or pain killers, so you're actually awake for the entire procedure and trust me, it isn't all that cheap... you're gonna be looking at around at least $3,000 easy... that's not counting all the other extra little charges either. Buyer beware.
honestly, if you're so old that you have wrinkle, you probably only have a few years to live. why waste money on that while you can save money to do something that's actually rewarding.
@justxboredx3 totally dude...and young shits like yourself shouldn't be on youtube...you have so much energy you should be living in third world countries, roughing it, and helping to feed the poor...do something rewarding with your young life instead of sitting on your ass watching videos
@yahoopl3 actually, i have lived there thank you very much.I know what i felt like, I send money to my old country alot. and LOL i can't belive an old lady is cussing out this "young shit" see, this is why i'm saying that this is a waste, people are actually starvingg to death and some shitty old woman like you are caring about their looks. I am doing rewarding stuff, don't get insulted just 'cause you're one of those old slutty whore. :D
@justxboredx3 Wow, you're a pretty sensitive little shit, you must feel guilty about sitting on your ass all the time watching youtube videos. Why don't you go back where you came from instead of polluting the civilized world with your worthless psychobabble? Also, I"m even younger than you, and much better looking. Now, go die. That is all :)
@yahoopl3 hahaha that's what they all say. hey, when you go here and watch videos, you're just like me, so in a way, you're talking about yourself too. why are you so rude anyways? i'm not the one feeling insulted for someone telling the truth. Please, go insult fight with someone else you old lonely hag. Now, go to hell. that is all. :D
@justxboredx3 That's just it, you say you're telling the truth, but you're not. You're just giving your meaningless whining opinion that means nothing to nobody but yourself. As for me, I'm a sophomore in high school, saw this on an informercial, and was curious as to the legitmacy of the ad, so looked it up on youtube. I couldn't care less what you believe, you're nothing but a sniveling ugly insecure cunt who is exploring plastic surgery because you're so hideous.Go soak in a vat of acid
@yahoopl3 look who's talking! what idiot got insulted when i talked abotu these old ladies? oh maybe it's you. seriously, i don't want to talk to some idiotic imature whore. good bye idiot.
Use Mark Traynor Lifts...facelift tape. Hide it under a wig. Tape and elastic system and costs around 30 bucks.Pulls eyes up and neck taut and smooths face out...so what if its tape. It holds and looks great . Don't risk your health to get surgery by THIS clown Dr. David N Kent's Lifestyle GRIFT.
Yes, olive oil along with other oils; like coconut (monolaurin) are allegedly great for the body both externally and internally. It is strange, however, that when I used olive oil (pure? extra virgin, price ranges varied) on my skin, it clogged my pores and darkened my skin tone (I use UVA/UVB sunscreen even when not sunny on my face) . I used olive oil for about 2 years and decided to stop. Now, I only consume olive oil (at least 3 tblspns, daily).

It is strange, however, that when I used olive oil (pure? extra virgin, price ranges varied) on my skin, it only made my skin more krinkly looking: aloe vera does the exact thing.
Was the doctor who performed the procedure on the women board certified? Not that being board certified always mean that something can't go wrong. Also, I believe that eating less sugary foods and sunscreen (you do need some sun though; during the rising and/or setting of the sun for at least 15 mins.) green tea (both internally and externally), seabukthorn (omega 7) and fish oil, vitamin C , quercetin/bromelain (foods) and products for the liver/kidneysare some of the things to help the skin.
this is the same company that has a chief marketing officer who called the people who underwent the procedure "trailer trash". just so you know how the marketing guy thinks about the company, and more importantly, YOU if you dare do this.
People who look for cheap was of surgery get everything they get and I do not feel sorry for them. If you are going to have someone cut up your face, you have better done your homework. Any moron who watches BS advertisements and then just walks in one of these clinics to have "Dr. R" cut them up deserves exactly what they get.
@supremerambo That's a pretty cruel statement to make. have some compassion. These people are scammed and tricked...I hope karma doesnt come back and bite you in the ass one day for being so judgemental
Just take a look at the before and after shots to see what a scam this is. Before: chin down, not smiling, bad lighting, no makeup, hair not done. After: chin out, smiling (which lifts the face), great lighting, makeup and hair done - and a COMPLETELY different camera angle. Get a clue people - this isn't just a hair cut - it's SURGERY! All kinds of things can go wrong, not to mention the discomfort and pain. Accept yourself as you are - you can't stop time.
I haven't aged well, pretty scary looking. I'm real tempted to get my neck or jowels done and some other things, but why can't I just accept my age and how I've aged and live out my life? I can and I'm going to. If someone doesn't like looking at me, they can have their eyes removed.
@sistermitzi You are a human being! There is something beautiful about someone who has lived a real life and wears their real age without apology and with grace. Both my grandmothers had plenty of wrinkles and one had a pretty good turkey neck too. But, they were lovely women whom I grew up admiring and wanting to be just like. Both had been beautiful younger women so I know that sometimes it was hard for them. But neither complained. It helped that my grandmas both had a lot of self esteem.
You know - plastic surgery is not what everyone thinks it is. It is great - but it is what you make of it - It is painful and it never seems to be as extreme as we would like it to be. All of the women talking look great and do not have saggy underchin
This is very scary! My mom just had a consultation at the Atlanta location last Friday. She had scheduled her surgery on the 24th. We are cancelling now. It is just too much of a risk to take.
Montel should have another show on Lifestyle lift with the women in this video. People need to know the truth. It goes to show you that you can't even trust the tv shows out there.
Thanks, that was very informative. I saw an informercial for this and I could tell that in the before pictures the people were pushing their chins down. I guess to make their necks look worse.
Unconscionable, how can someone do this to another human being and sleep at night? They wouldn't want someone to do it to them or worse their mother, yet they are willing to do it to someone else.!! What goes areound comes around regardless of who you are.
Thank you CBS Atlanta for telling the truth. Let all the nonbelievers go get the lift and then watch it slide off while trying to nurse the scars that come with it. This may be the "new-improved" lift from the early 70's but if it only works for a small percentage of folks, why is even being used at all? How did this get past AMA? Lots of questions here need to be answered and not in 5 minute segments. Somebody needs to tell the TRUTH. Remember truth, what our nation is suppose ...

you get what you pay for.
First check the qualifications of the doctor
Make sure he is board certified and not pushing himself via tv and other things.
Make sure he has done that particular surgery many times and not just starting.
Interview with the doctor first to make sure he had meet your needs.
And you may also check the credentials.
You may want to check with the state board of plastic surgeons as well

Lifestyle Lift, reached a settlement of $300,000 to the St. of NY
in 09, over attempts to fake positive consumer reviews on the Web.
Discovered by the att general’s office, told employees to spend the day to doing more postings on the Web as a satisfied client.
