  • Its funny i thought that too Jim carrey would of been a good joker.

  • Grab the audio from this clip at thetunify doht cohm.

  • They do hint at the original films in sly ways. My guess is that the studio wanted them to distance the film from the Burton films because of the parental backlash the second one got. The strongest scene of this is the scene where he gives Bruce the speech about the path of revenge (since we saw it happen to him in the first two films). He does know who killed his parents and it is strongly hinted to be the Joker with the lines

Dick: Your parents weren't killed by a maniac.

    Bruce: yes they were

  • The new series is definitely the best. I only liked the burton films from the old one. Batman forever and batman and robin SUCK ASS!! Cheesy (in a bad way) stupid, unintelligent, and just plain BAD.

  • Two-Face sucked in this movie.

  • In my opinion:

    Batman (1989) = 9.5/10

    Batman Returns = 8.5/10

    Batman Forever = 6/10

    Batman & Robin = 2.5/10

    Batman Begins = 9/10

    The Dark Knight = 9.5/10

    Something like that.

  • @jazzmatik im my opinion:

    Your mom Ass = 10/10

  • @jazzmatik Every Animated Batman = 10/10

  • @jazzmatik I agree with your opinion.

  • for me too

  • i will always lov this movie because it was the first movie i saw in theaters(i was 4 when i saw it) .just the fact that my first movie that i saw in theaters was a batman movie(considering that im a huge batman fan) this movie will always hav a place in my heart.

  • this was the first Batman film I saw in theaters

  • awsome

  • lol....

everythin' u just said is the same with me..!!!!!

  • hehehe awsome dude!!!!!!

  • I adore this movie.

I personally think that Matthew Goode should be the next Riddler.

Oh and Tommy lee Jones is a lot better than Aaron Eckhart.

  • Aaron Eckhart was awesome. Tommy Lee Jones sucked in the dark leagues, but was pretty funny and entertaining. Problem is, that's not how his character should be like.

  • @usayeed727 Well, I rather liked the way that Tommy acted. Eckhart was good, but not the best in my opinion.

What would you think if Matthew Goode played the Riddler? He fits him the best in my opinion. *for the new movie*

  • @InoubliableNostalgia. Okay, it is your opinion and I do respect it as long as it ain't offensive or discriminatory, and your wasn't, so I respect it. Matthew Goode maybe. Riddler is supposed to be eccentric, Two-Face isn't. Eckhart was perfect, and a dude with Jones' talent should be able to do much better.

  • @usayeed727 Thank you for respecting my opinion. :) And I respect yours. ^.^

I agree, that is why I believe that Matthew is perfect. He played a somewhat wacky man in My Family And Other Animals well. :) I also think that he has the looks. For some reason... I just always pictured The Riddler as a tall British fellow with sharp wits. Who do you think should play The Riddler?

  • I picture Steve Buscemi as playing The Riddler well. He's always played weird, smart guys, with a high intelligeance. Johnny Depp would make a great Mad Hatter, he's playing the part in Tim Burton film Alice in Wonderland.

  • @moviereviews4life that would be interesting if he play The Riddler, I am just a fan of Matthew Goode that could be why. In Match Point he reminded me of Edward Nygma.

I'd like if Johnny play The Mad Hatter again. :)

  • @moviereviews4life. I don't know about the Mad Hatter. I think he's a really bad Batman villain. Not a heavy hitter if ya know what I mean.

  • @InoubliableNostalgia. Johnny Depp without a doubt. He can play the Riddler, or he Joker since Heath Ledger passed away.

  • @usayeed727 I would like Johnny as The Joker. This may sound silly, but even though Nicole Kidman has been in a Batman movie already, I would want her to be in the new one. I am not sure who she should play though an older Talia al Ghul perhaps? or Poison Ivy. But that is just me. ^.^

  • @InoubliableNostalgia. Nah. I think the new rebooted Batman should be kept moving with different actors and actresses. Besides, Talia and Bats are supposed to be the same age.

  • @usayeed727 True, but I want Nicole in it again. She is a wonderful actress.

  • @InoubliableNostalgia Grant you that, she is a good actress.

  • :) Not many people think that. I am glad that someone thinks that she is good. ^-^

I would like there to be a Poison Ivy in the next Batman too.

  • @InoubliableNostalgia. Affirmative.

  • @InoubliableNostalgia she cant do that, shes already 43

  • -.- Who cares how old she is?

Then she can play an older Chase, with a more developed background.

  • @StrawberrySheffields i see that ur a fan of her. i am a fan of jim carrey too, but i would not like him to be the riddler in the next movie cause it just doesnt make sense

....do u know what i mean...??

  • She is a wonderful serious actress, I like Carrey, but he has not been in many serious movies. Matthew Goode SHOULD play The Riddler though, heck even in his new movie he said :Riddle me this." random fact, but he's one of the best actors.

  • omg it's michael j fox moviereviews4life is michael j fox!!!!

  • A film I really enjoyed, it will always be close to my heart as I loved it when I was younger. However, Tommy Lee Jones' Two Face was horrible. Good flick tho.

  • I really just felt like Tommy Lee Jones was more of the Caesar Romero Joker when I saw it in the theaters. Jim Carrey was definitely imitating Frank Gorshin's Riddler. If they do The Riddler in any of the new films, get Steve Buscemi, he's played smart crazy people before and can really give the character the dark tone that no one knows about in the comics

  • thing is, when i watch jim carrey goofin around in the role, i cant seperate the role rom the character, it was just jim carrey being jim carrey.

  • true. however i'm glad he is doing more serious roles, even though he has recently done a comedy, he is expanding

  • Oh yeah man I fucking love Jim carrey, it annoys me when people say he can only be a goofball, i think hes a fantastic actor, i love the truman show, eternal sunshine, the majestic and especially man on themoon, one of my favorites movies. Jim Carrey is an amazing ACTOR, and he should have tried to act more here, because he is amazing and very underrated.

  • Great stuff, man. Although this movie is the precursor to Batman and Robin, I've always really enjoyed it.

  • But the other chracters like Robin/Dick Greyson was done very well by Chris O'Donnell.Jim Carrey as The Riddler was very funny to watch but your right he should be played more seroius.Tommy L.Jones as Two-face not so good compired to TDK version with Aaron Ackart he knock it better out of the park but wasn't T.L.J fault IMO! AWESOME REVIEW 5 STARS!

  • I like the info you gave Annericelover that was cool. Great review man, not my fav. of the movies though.

  • Your welcome, usually if I know the backstory of a film, I like to let others know. Wait until I get to the Universal Monsters, lol.

  • Each review you do for these flims is more better &has a pack full of info that is very insightful to hear Eric. Yes this flim was pretty fun for me it was the first time my big brother took me to the movies to see as a J.H.S gradtion gift we both enjoyed it but Val wasn't a good Batman/Bruce Wayne as Keaton or Bale.

  • A lot of it I got from the documentaries, some are stuff I knew from over years of watching the films. Thank you for the compliment. I should be doing Batman Begins and The Dark Knight and will have them up tomorrow

  • Anytime amigo shit i really can't wait to get back on here i'm starting to feel withdraw LOL! This weekend i'm going to get my new webcam then i can make my baddass comeback with that ''Francise''movie review series i'm going to do shit i can't wait.Oh Eric have you've been watch T:scc lately the season finle is this friday?

  • Yeah, I've been watching, I'm not surprised Brian Austin Green is out for a little while. Tori Spelling will be back on 90210 next week. Which means there is a good chance his David character may show up shortly after that(they are separated and he is in Japan)

  • Really? He's actual thinking about returning to the series that he worked so hard to get away from what a SMUCK!
