I admire Woody Alloen immensly as a filmmaker. He is not the best clarinestest. I would challenge him to a clarinet duel if I thought he'd accept. Kudos to him for performing. That's my weak point. i know I';m good but don't perform regularly. Advantage Woody.

Haha now thats Old School!! I dig it ( exept from the parts with the singin and the lyrics, thats awful ) Very strange clarinet-sound woody plays in the middle of the video and on, it sounds like a played delay! If theres a special name for that method of playing i would be more than happy if someone shared this secret!

I believe Woody and the entire band play in the New Orleans style, as opposed to the Dixieland style, which is hotter and faster.
