So Larshied is not a hockey trivia guru... big deal. He is a homer, I know, but he loves his home team and that adds excitement to each and every broadcast. Listen to the color guy in other cities and how boring they are, and you'd learn to appreciate what Tom brings to the table.
yeah i agree too how larshied is anoyying, and he overreacts to everything like when they score he celebrates it like its a stanlycup win or somthing. He needs to get outa the hockey and get his facts straight.
larshied is off on his history (3 mins of the video) when he talks about edmonton oilers (1989/90)beating them in the playoffs and later winning the cup that year.oilers didnt even play them that year.oilers faced jets,kings(round2),hawks and bruins.cauncks lost to kings 1st round that year and lost to the oilers the following year when the pens won(90/91).get your facts straight u old over exited idiot.time to retire.i love the canucks i just find him so annoying.
Ah now that I have watched it, he seems to be talking about 1993 (when the Canucks beat the Jets in 6)....and the Oilers didn't make the playoffs that year. So he's got it wrong either way. You'd think someone would catch that before they sent out the video.
In '92 the Canucks did lose to the Oilers in the 2nd round, but the Oilers didn't win the Cup--they lost to Chicago in the Conference final. In '93, the Canucks lost to the Kings in the 2nd round. In both years, they beat the Jets in the 1st round.
LOL at Kay Whitmore! Does anybody else remember the old show on Chek? Winning Spirit? And there was a segment called "Cooking In The Crease With Kay." They would go to Kay's townhouse and he'd do a cooking segment. So funny!
Exactly 17 years ago tonight the Canucks made it into the Stanley Cup final....TONIGHT HISTORY WILL REPEAT ITSELF! GO NUCKS!!!

@Sunday2810 It did repeat itself, but with a different outcome in the playoffs this time around. Go Canucks!

Jeff Brown: "I am excited, we have great goaltending..." Within 2 year he nails the wife of the reason '94 even happened

What's the dvd called? And where did you buy it?

The DVD is called Ten Years After. It was a gift to season tickets holders in 2004, the 10 year anniversary of our marvelous run.

The Kings beat the Flames in 1990. Vancouver didn't even make the playoffs.
I agree with your 'old over-excited idiot' comment.
