INTERNATIONAL 9800 cabover

International, Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, Mack and even Volvo should try to bring COEs back to the US. Most companies are using them to haul 57' van trailers and longer single trailer loads. Problem is some states are getting stricter about having conventionals pulling long single trailer without proper length guidelines or permission are drivers get ticketed for it.

Nice trucks, too bad the COE has gone the way of the past here in the states. Especially with the technology to make flat floor COEs to make the truck every bit as livable as a conventional.

@thesportbikeman They are still in production and I have heard that they make them to meet or exceed U.S. safety standards. You just have to contact International to arrange a special delivery with cash on the spot, no financing from them.

@jokerman213 schneider trucks are almost always Shcneider Orange with a few exceptions that color was JB Hunts Color and i knwo JB Hunt had a ton of the 9800 COE's in theri fleet i think they might have been one of the largest buyers/ users of the 9800 COE

In 2000 year was imported in Russia about 4000 JB Hunt trucks ( Daimler Crysler did it), now population USA trucks in Russia about 25000 trucks. And here you can buy also now International 9800I, we build those trucks here for 9 month.

The last cabovers wal-mart used got better mileage then the late model hoods of the past few years. Most of them left the USA. Lots of trucking companies here had a hard time keeping a driver from going somewhere else as more and more companies switched to hoods.

Great video and astonishing trucks...I've lived in 3 countries in the European Union so far, one of them is in the Eastern part but unfortunately I've never seen any American cabovers there:( I really don't want to seem to be a smart ass but to be honest, emission laws are way stricter here than in the US, these pictures were perhaps made in Russia or Ukraine, I don't know...anyhow, I am relocating to the US this summer and I hope I'll see a lot of them in Kentucky:D
