Pavarotti wanted to introduce him in Italy, but he was already very sick and died some moths later. Separately from that, Anthony was due to perform in Italy a few years ago but cancelled it when a long engagement came up here. I really hope he's promoted more to the world before long. Maybe you could request his music in Italy?

I live in Winnipeg, Canada. I stumbled onto his performance of The Prayer on Australian Idol and was blown away. One of the best voices I have ever heard, it's hard to stop listening! So powerful, passionate, expressive, and inspiring. Is his recording company just not interested in marketing him internationally? He shows that famcy pop lyrics of Justin Timberlake or less known extreme Lessero tennor David Phelps need to learn a great lesson from this man: Passion! Show it in every one, every phrase and mean it. This has got to be one of the best and most genuinely powerful message songs I've ever heard. It's not schmaltzy, it's not over-the-top, none of this "We Are the World"-style thinly-veiled Schadenfreude--right to the point and directed from one vocalist to each person's individual soul. That's musical genius, and I don't know who wrote it, but he and Anthony Callea make Live Aid look like a PTA fundraiser in the sincerity department.

Yea the guy from American Idol is David Archuleta, and he sang You're the Voice. He sang it amazingly, but the thing was Simon Cowell called it a theme park song.
The ppl left are all really good. However archy's singing is a lil' lame and boring...not bad...but common. Anyone sings like him. Cook is a lil' more original, but still, there are too many rockers like him. Syesha is incredily and the biggest range!!

The American music industry mostly ignores ANYTHING that isn't hip/hop rap. Rock, R&B, and POP have been pushed off of "popular" radio by hip/hop. Despite the fact that that type of music has been stagnant since the late 80's, that's still what the US seems to want. Let them have it, but the rest of the world is no longer following America's tastes. There are SUPERSTARS that are famous everywhere EXCEPT the US. Most Americans have no idea who Robbie Williams or Kylie is. Anthony IS a STAR.

Well I guess you should go comment on Guys, Video's and stop making Idol comparisons. Guy was on Idol 5 years ago, and Anthony 4 years ago,they are artists in their own right now, get over Idol please, if you must make comparisons compare Guy to someone who sings his genre of music.

This has got to be one of the best and most genuinely powerful message songs I've ever heard. It's not schmaltzy, it's not over-the-top, none of this "We Are the World"-style thinly-veiled Schadenfreude--right to the point and directed from one vocalist to each person's individual soul. That's musical genius, and I don't know who wrote it, but he and Anthony Callea make Live Aid look like a PTA fundraiser in the sincerity department.

I dedicate this emotional and beautiful song to my partner. He has passed, cancer took him at a young age, but this amazing song is how I feel about him. We lived for each other, and that will always be a special place for me. I love you Lindy, RIP my angel, you are loved.....:}

Thats great, its a beautiful song, with so much meaning and Anthony has a such a gorgeous voice. How did you come to hear this song in the USA. Anthony Callea is an Australian singer and I didn't think his music has been released over there yet. But think its great that your school is doing this as one of their songs.

Would really love it if Sony released his music in the USA, he seems to have a lot of fans over there.You can buy his first album off iTunes but his second album isn't available only on Amazon.He is currently working on his 3rd album & just finished touring Australia with Celine Dion on her Taking Chances tour.There are some amazing clips on Anthony doing what he does best on Youtube. Yea the guy from American Idol is David Archuleta, and he sang You're the Voice. He sang it amazingly, but the thing was Simon Cowell called it a theme park song.

The ppl left are all really good. However archy's singing is a lil' lame and boring...not bad...but common. Anyone sings like him. Cook is a lil' more original, but still, there are too many rockers like him. Syesha is incredily and the biggest range!!

The American music industry mostly ignores ANYTHING that isn't hip/hop rap. Rock, R&B, and POP have been pushed off of "popular" radio by hip/hop. Despite the fact that that type of music has been stagnant since the late 80's, that's still what the US seems to want. Let them have it, but the rest of the world is no longer following America's tastes. There are SUPERSTARS that are famous everywhere EXCEPT the US. Most Americans have no idea who Robbie Williams or Kylie is. Anthony IS a STAR.

There are over 500 clips on Youtube, so you have plenty to keep you occupied.Hopefully one day you will see him in Canada or the States.
He's about to star in the Melbourne production of Wicked and also just finished playing Mark in RENT, (lots of video's on Youtube). He has an amazing voice and is an allround beautiful person. He's also working on his 3rd album due for release later this year. Welcome to the fan club. :)

i just went to his homepage officia site, it is so touching of what he have said about his coming out and how his family so supportive as well as his partner. I almost cried b/c it does takes a lot of effort and strength to come out never know how people and the world think of you. Im yet to come out and hopefully soon i will and that my fam will support me as well for who i am. This man is amazing and wish him nothing but the best.
