There will yes be another Xbox 720 and PS4 but if you actually did some searching you would know that these new systems aren't going to be released til late 2013 or early 2014.

If Nintendo makes a new F-Zero (my favorite racing series of all time) then the Wii-U will be a definite purchase. Probably going to get one anyway because I've always enjoyed Nintendo games. Then again, I've pretty much owned every console that has been released for the last two decades.

It was very smart for them to make the Wii remote a functioning device for the new Wii-U system. Should make the transition for current Wii owners more acceptable.

the wii u sounds great and i cant wait. its not that im a fanboy of nintendo but i am a true fanboy of gameing and that means that i oun all systems even the wii all though it did not do what i hoped from the beginning but i was there from the beginning of game and so was nintendo. so i will always have love for nintendo and all good game no mater what system.

no no please no multiplayer there single player games are gonna degrade while they focus on multiplayer as for me picking it up ...maybe .screw microsoft i'm gonna stay away from them (i got banned during the black ops moon dlc error and was never fixed) it depends if they bring any new and interesting games for a console that should be under 250 usd if not then i will hold out for the next playstation

These developers trying to introduce new and 'innovative' controls and crap drive me nuts. Just give me a simple controller with 2 analog sticks and some buttons. I'm excited about the next gen consoles just for something fresh. I am glad nintendo is solely relying on a gimmick this time and is actually going to appeal to hardcore gamers. I'd have to wait to hear about the next Xbox before I can determine if I will get the WiiU. If their price decently I might have enough dosh for both.

Rd party dev support is going to be crucial to it's success IMO. Mario was cool when we were kids but now kids have bf3 and skyrim, I sure as hell would have played much mario had those titles been around back then
